STAR WARS: SCOUNDRELS, REBELS AND THE EMPIRE on Penguin Random House Comics (archived from the original) From April 28 to May 4 in the U.S. and April 28 to May 1 in the U.K., fans will get the chance to see the climactic third film in the original “Star Wars” trilogy on the big screen. It’s the first time in 26 years there’s been an official theatrical release.

The audience was also the first to learn some new cast reveals: Lars Mikkelson will play Grand Admiral Thrawn; Mary Elizabeth Winstead will be Twi’lek pilot Hera Syndulla; and Ray Stevenson and Ivanna Sakhno will play new villains Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati. Panel attendees got the first look at a new “Ahsoka” teaser trailer. The biggest takeaway? “Star Wars Rebels” fans are in for a treat, with live-action versions of “Rebels” characters and settings occupying much of the trailer’s airtime. Played by Rosario Dawson, Ahsoka has already appeared in “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett,” but fans can expect a much deeper dive into the character by writer-producer Dave Filoni and executive producer Jon Favreau in the new show. Dave Filoni will direct a film during the New Republic era that ties together the period between “The Return of the Jedi” and “The Force Awakens.” The movie will close out the connecting stories that were told in Disney+ projects like “The Mandalorian,”“The Book of Boba Fett,” and the upcoming “Ahsoka.”

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige Confirms His STAR WARS Movie Is No Longer Happening With Blunt Answer

StarWars.com: As a designer, did you come to learn or appreciate anything about the shooting set while bringing it to LEGO form? The Movie Trilogy Sourcebook · Trilogy Sourcebook, Special Edition · 20th Anniversary Commemorative Magazine · Complete Trilogy Scrapbook · Best of Star Wars · The Visual Dictionary ( Complete, New Edition) · Incredible Cross-Sections ( Complete) · Who's Who · Complete Vehicles · In 100 Scenes · 100 Defining Moments · Best of Insider The audience also got an exclusive look at footage from the upcoming live-action series “Star: Wars: Skeleton Crew,” debuting this year on Disney+. In addition to the 40th-anniversary panel, as mentioned earlier, it’s also been confirmed that Rosario Dawson, who plays the live-action incarnation of Ahsoka Tano, will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans as well. Price tags for both are available in the link above. Her appearance there doesn’t come particularly as a surprise, as she’s expected to attend the yet-to-be-announced major panel focused on the upcoming Ahsoka live-action series. In fact, the actress is available for photo-ops and pictures on Sunday and Monday, which already tells us that we should expect that panel to happen either on Friday or Saturday. If the Return of the Jedi panel is indeed on Friday, we could see Ahsoka take the stage on Saturday — it could also be part of a larger panel akin to what Lucasfilm did last year in Anaheim, where they discussed every upcoming live-action project in a 90-minute Thursday panel. Return of the Jedi is generally seen as the low point of the trilogy, but it certainly has its moments, with the entire Jabba's palace opening sequence and Luke's final confrontation with his father and the Emperor standing out as highlights of the entire saga.
