You'll also need your favorite flavoring ingredients for the cream cheese dip. I chose to use 1 tablespoon each of garlic powder and onion powder, plus ½ tablespoon each of dried basil and oregano. This is a truth or dare game, with an added fun element of creepiness provided by the moving green hand. To activate the hand, you need to place 3 AA batteries inside, and then there is an on / off switch at the top, along with an activation button.

Spoon out about 1 C worth of your cream cheese mixture to make the palm of the hand at the base of the wrist bone. Smooth a little over the top of the prosciutto log to make it continuous. As the beloved daughter of a prominent French family in the 1870s, Blanche Monnier lived her early years as if she was in a fairy tale, replete with notions of true love and happily ever after. If you were unable to find a pre-made prosciutto/mozzarella roll, you can simply use an extra 8 oz of cream cheese and 2 oz of prosciutto. (Just be sure to increase your seasoning amounts to compensate for the extra cream cheese!)

So what the hell is it?

It's a delicious appetizer: This Halloween hand isn't just for show! The flavors in this prosciutto cream cheese dip blend perfectly together and make for an incredibly tasty appetizer! You can also swap out the seasonings for diced peppers, olives, green onions, or any other of your favorite dip ingredients! (Just be sure they aren't too chunky or it will ruin the appearance of the hand!) It's festive and unique: This creepy Halloween hand is perfect for either adult and kid Halloween parties and will be sure to leave everyone impressed by your creativity! (I won't tell that you had a recipe!) To start, allow 16 oz of cream cheese to soften slightly at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes. Then, in a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese with your desired flavorings (I used 1 tablespoon each of garlic powder and onion powder and ½ tablespoon each of dried basil and oregano). If you're unable to find one, you can simply use a little extra prosciutto and cream cheese to form a bit of a wrist structure!

The Byward Tower has always been the Warders’ own domain. It gets its name because it’s 'by the Warders’ HQ'. So why don’t any of them know where the hand came from? I spoke to three separate Yeoman Warders, and the official Tower Press Office. None of them could provide an answer. We’ve been trying out some spooky new games from Megableu that are perfect for this time of year. Both Creepy Hand, and Ghost Hunter Evolution are lots of fun and would work well for kids parties or playdates. I’ll show you what my kids made of them, and you can watch them in action in our video at the end of this post. I have a theory. I think the creepy hand was sneaked in there as a joke, unofficially, by someone who might have got in trouble if their identity had become known. Perhaps the fact that it is clearly a valuable antique has something to do with it.

Tipsy beefeaters?

The game comes with a special projector “Billy Bones”, a shooter that you can use to hit the projected bats and ghosts to win points, and multi vision glasses.
