We played with our original egg for 25 minutes before giving up and opening the egg to see the cute plush Llalacorn inside! It’s a good sized product. All kids love something that is big and can actually grow as big as them! I like the games you can play with it too, and hearing it say I love you is the cutest. Parental thoughts

Each Hatchimals WOW Includes: 1 Hatchimals WOW, 1 Re-Hatchable Egg, 1 Confetti Fruit Accessory, 1 Instruction Guide. As the egg can re-hatch, there is much less waste. I found with previous Hatchimals product, the egg goes everywhere and it is a lot of plastic waste. The pink egg is re-usable and actually fun to play with in another context! The fact it is rehatchable is a huge plus point, as that is the main attraction with these toys for Emmy. She has already rehatched this 4 times already and of course, the shell is a great net for her new pet and somewhere to store the fruit for feeding it so it doesn’t get lost. All in all this is a really fun toy to play with. We did find it somewhat difficult to get it to do what we wanted to though. We found that it helped to have it on a solid, flat surface but it can be a bit frustrating to work properly. I think if you are happy just to play randomly with it you will be ok, but if you are determined to make it do what it is supposed to you might struggle.Full disclosure: This was our second Hatchimals WOW. Our first Hatchimals WOW llalacorn didn’t hatch! Your Hatchimal will sneeze. It rises and says “ahh ahh!” If you touch their forehead it will move down. If it reaches the top will do a big sneeze, if hits the bottom, the sneeze goes away. Overall I have to say, I was a little disappointed with the Hatchimals WOW, in comparison to the Hatchimals Hatchibabies we reviewed last year. Even though it re-hatches there are a couple of niggles, such as it doesn’t work on carpet or when you are holding it and the hatching process is not as fun.

If you leave your Hatchimals Wow alone for 30 seconds it will fall asleep. You can turn it off using the on/off switch on the base of the Hatchimal. If you put the egg top on the top of it's head it's eyes will turn off and it will make curious sounds. Take the top off and it's eyes will light up and it will say peek a boo! Try tapping one of it's toes while the egg is on top of it's head too. You can re-hatch the egg, which means the excitement continues and you can do this as many times as you want. Once we found out where all the sensors were and how to activate them properly, we had a great time playing with our Hatchimals WOW Llalacorn.

It’s really interactive and once figured out, is really good fun. It’s also good to play with your child for some time together.

The Hatchimals WOW Hatching Process

When your Hatchimals WOW is ready to hatch, you’ll see their eyes flash rainbow colours and hear some ‘ready to hatch music’. Remove the plastic ribbon and your Hatchimals WOW will hatch from the egg. There is another big difference with this year’s Hatchimals; they come in massive pink glittery eggs which are made of solid plastic and can be re-hatched again and again. This will please parents whose children begged for the eggs and lost interest past the hatching phase! Before I even write the full review I am writing this here so it is seen early on. Hatchimal WOW Not Working Unfortunately ours still refused to hatch, so we had to get it replaced.
