The plot is actually very cute: Crystal Chen is a fitness influencer who’s all about body positivity and embracing your curves, which, yes, please. Like a true gym rat, she has a gym nemesis - a giant, blond menace with tons of muscles who steals her equipment and cuts the water fountain line.

I liked the approach, although this book has some mixtures of those self-help books, but not in excess. This was such a fun debut novel! I love a good enemies to lovers romance and Scott and Crystal's story was great. Writing is entertaining, engaging, and fast paced with first person narrative from Crystal’s perspective. The plot is interesting and light-hearted with realistic and relatable characters and important topics that we don’t see often in this genre. He narrows his gaze in my direction as I shimmy through the turnstiles. Instantly, his expression goes from neutral to a deep scowl, as if my mere presence has derailed his entire day. so, this was just spectacular, especially for a debut novel. wow. i had the best time reading it with a big silly smile on my face. i am so hyped for Tara and Trevor, i didn’t actually think they’d be getting a romance together so i can’t wait!!I like what author said in the notes in the beginning. This isn’t about the character realizing to accept her body and learn self-love as she already knows it, she already working on it by inspiring women like her who is not size zero, advocating healthy life without measuring calories. It’s more about her journey on this self-love path and how fatphobic stereotypic comments on her platform create obstacles making her rethink the base of her body positivity campaign.
