Accessories: 2 sets of alternate hands, 1 "tail blaster", 1 Energon crystal, 2 blast effect accessories This figure was reissued by TakaraTomy on March 31, 2019 to coincide with the release of Masterpiece Beast Megatron. Cheetor's design art seems to indicate he wasn't originally designed to be a cheetah... or was at least designed to be generically big-cat-like enough to be other types of feline. The Takara Beast Wars Metals release of the Transmetal Cheetor toy features a number of small but notable changes from the Hasbro version. The most immediately noticeable is that the "CHEETOR" tampograph on his beast mode was changed to "CYBERTRON" and the Maximal faction symbol. The other changes make Takara's version closer to Cheetor's show appearance than the Hasbro version: green robot mode eyes (Hasbro's version has light blue), painted cheetah teeth (Hasbro's are unpainted), and the gray plastic is more blue-hued than the Hasbro version's semi-French-gray.

After the quantum surge, Cheetor acquired a Transmetal form that gave his robot mode the organic attributes that his beast mode once possessed. The upgrade gave Cheetor more power and agility than ever before, and this new body had flip-out cyber-thrust wings that gave him additional speed and limited flight. Transmetals Cheetor bio This vintage Beast Wars Cheetor figure is inspired by the original 1996 Beast Wars release. Figure features green eyes in the style of the 1997 toy release Due to the temporal machinations of Ravage in Primax 785.06 Alpha, a quantum duplicate of the Autobot shuttle carrying the victorious Maximals home from the end of the Beast Wars in Primax 496.22 Alpha was spawned. The shuttle was shunted to Primax 903.0 Beta, where Unicron destroyed it, scattering its crew into transwarp space. Outlier Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/30 TransTech This toy, like most of the Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy toys, is a Walmart exclusive in the U.S. and Canada. Like the rest of its Deluxe Class wave, Cheetor was found in Walmart stores on March 13 [7] before an official unveiling. The youthful 'bot who would become "Cheetor" was part of the Maximal exploration ship Axalon; Beast Wars (Part 1) unbeknownst to most members of the crew, its captain Optimus Primal had been secretly tasked with abandoning the murderous Protoform X far from Cybertronian space. Bad Spark However, the Axalon would be diverted off-course to pursue Megatron and a group of rogue Predacons, who'd stolen a golden disk and fled Cybertron aboard a transwarp-capable starship.Down but not out, the Maximals began preparing their defenses for the impending Vehicon assault. The shields did not hold long, and the Maximals found themselves fighting against hordes of drones. The Maximals used spark power bestowed on them by the Oracle to decimate the drones, until Megatron took the Oracle from them. Cheetor found himself facing the three Vehicon Generals on his own, but was able to use the anti-gravity generators to fire Obsidian and Strika into orbit. Cheetor struggled with Thrust, but finally used a spark extractor against him. He was unprepared to face his next foe—Megatron, newly installed into a duplicate of Primal's old "optimal" body—and finally had his own spark torn out by a Cycle Drone. When Legends Fall After a city-spanning battle, Optimus sacrificed himself to destroy Megatron and reformat Cybertron into a technorganic paradise. Cheetor and the other Maximals were restored to their bodies; as the captive sparks were reborn, Cheetor had a final vision from the Oracle, who told him that Optimus would always be with them. Seeds of the Future

Fiction Rise of the Beasts film Voice actor: Tongayi Chirisa (English), Wataru Takagi (Japanese), Eko Fresh (German), Sylvain Agaësse (European French), Duda Ribeiro (Brazilian Portuguese), Carlos Monroy (Latin American Spanish) The arrival of "standard-formers" from Cybertron was a major development on Eukaris, and the Four Tribes met with both outsiders and the Fateweaver to understand the ramifications. Cheetor and the tribes met with Chancellor Starscream of Cybertron and Windblade of Caminus when they exited from the spacebridge. Initially reluctant to form relations with Cybertron, whose people persecuted the children of Onyx Prime, Cheetor opened to the idea when he learned that other colony worlds were involved as well. Windblade vol. 2 #6 Cheetor figure comes with classic tail blaster and water-squirting “gut blaster” weapon accessories. Tail blaster attaches as cheetah tail and water blaster attaches as cheetah stomach in beast mode. Water blaster is functional in both modes. Figure also features flip-down mutant head This toy was an ultimately inauspicious start for the Supreme price point. It shelfwarmed pretty badly and ended up in blowout sales at online retailers discounted more than 75% off its original price tag. This mold was later redecoed for a " Fox Kids" version, as well as both the Hasbro and Takara 10th anniversary versions of the character. This figure was retooled into Shadow Panther, and then redecoed into Legacy Nightprowler. The mold's robot and beast mode legs were also reused on the Hasbro PulseCon-exclusive War for Cybertron Trilogy " Covert Agent Ravage".

Part of the fourth wave of Kingdom Deluxe Class toys, Shadow Panther is a retool of Cheetor from the same line, with a new head based on the original figure's mutant head. He transforms into a "panther" in 20 steps. Shadow Panther's tail can detach to become a bladed whip, similar to Cheetor's Transmetal toy. His beast mode has fully articulated limbs and his jaw can open and close.

Cheetor would later receive another upgrade from Megatron's cloning experiments, becoming a Transmetal 2. With this, he gained even more power and speed, but at the cost of bestial urges that he had to learn to control. With his new missile launcher and leap-thruster, Cheetor stirred fear in the Predacons he fought against. Transmetals 2 Cheetor bio Upon arriving on prehistoric Earth, the dangers of Energon radiation forced the Maximals and Predacons to take on beast alternate forms. "Cheetor" promptly grabbed a cheetah by its underbelly, hoisted it up to his optics, and scanned the creature's molecular structure. The indignant cheetah could do nothing but silently ask the robot "Do you mind?" Cheetor transformed into his new organic cheetah mode and darted into Predacon territory. Unfortunately, Cheetor was spotted by Tarantulas, and the two battled until they were forced to return to their beast modes to avoid Energon radiation damage. Beast Wars: Transformers video game advertising comic Beast Wars:Transformers video game Mainframe Entertainment's original plan for Transmetal Cheetor was to have his face mature over the course of the season, from a big-eared, wide-eyed, rounded face into one close to the toy. Also, he would have had a "Hero's Heart" which glowed after completing brave or heroic feats, somewhat akin to the classic anime character Astro Boy. Due to time and financial restrictions, none of these concepts panned out.

Known designers: John Warden and Mark Maher (Hasbro), Shogo Hasui (TakaraTomy), Dennis Chan (sculptor), Ken Christiansen (concept artist) Just as the battle seemed to be over, Cheetor received an incoming transmission from Megatron's stolen ship. Megatron introduced himself and disappeared through a transwarp portal. Cheetor and the rest of the Axalon crew followed blindly.
