We cherry picked the pages that inspired them, they loved it and it really good them strolling around the garden at our holiday home looking for flowers, picking grass for a grass man and other treasures. They will need scissors, pens, paints, tape, glue and a magnifying glass, plus lots of wild materials and their wildest creativity, as this book becomes filled with keepsakes from their own outdoor adventures. Tai buvo Stebuklinga Valanda, akimirka, kai kiekvienas lapas, kiekvienas žolės stiebelis atrodė išskirtinis, kai saulės spinduliai, nupoliruoti lietaus ir sušvelninti artėjančios nakties, teikė pasauliui nenusakomą spindelį. From finding the faces hidden in pictures of trees, to collecting ingredients for a spell to keep nature safe, to sticking the feathers back onto a mythical bird, these prompts and activities will provide hours and hours of entertainment as they take children on flights of fantasy through the natural world.

Given the reviews I seem to be very much in the minority, but I thought this was a wretchedly written book.In the rugged Pacific Northwest of the United States lies the Olympic National Forest – a vast expanse of impenetrable darkness and impossible beauty. Additionally, it was selected as a book club pick by the both Today Show and The Book Of the Month club, which named it the best book of 2021. They both live at the foot of the Chiltern Hills in South Oxfordshire, where they enjoy natural history, walking and exploring the local countryside.

but having 3 children on the Autism Spectrum, being caught up in a world of therapy and psychiatric assessments, I found the characters misleading and lacking authenticity. I found myself reluctantly picking up this one when I sat down to read and realised by 40% this one was not bringing me joy and we needed to part company. I think it should be aimed at a little higher as I think the designings inside would be too much for a younger child to read and understand. Jedno pozostaje niezmienne – Kristin Hannah pozostaje jedną z najwspanialszych współczesnych pisarek, które potrafią żonglować naszymi emocjami jak mało kto. But right away, Magic Hour seemed to be much more adultified, yet within the first 3 short chapters, I had a pretty good inclination where the book was going. I understand the book isn't about autism and that Alice/Brittany didn't actually have an autism diagnosis. I've always enjoyed activity books, especially if they form very much a journal style where you have the opportunity to express yourself. Shapiro wrote that unlike many parallel-arc stories, Strayed's two parallel narratives—the challenging hike itself and the difficult life events that preceded it—are delivered in perfect balance.I struggled with the quality of the writing, the easy/awkward introduction of a romantic subplot, and the oversimplification of "small town life". The story was complicated and layered, I would have hoped the ending would have been a bit more complex. The shocking facts of Alice’s life test the limits of Julia’s faith and strength, even as she struggles to make a home for Alice—and for herself.
