In addition to the well known "Over the Sea to Skye" song, Robert Louis Stevenson wrote a variation with different words and this is reproduced below. Bonnie Prince Charlie sailed (or, according to legend, rowed) with Flora MacDonald eastwards from South Uist to Skye.
