So yeah, the art is pretty good, but the tone is very imbalanced in a disturbing way. The main narrative is immature (those who are able to enjoy this say that the plot devolves even more later after a timeskip), and the only thing that stands out would likely be off-putting for most. (My example in the opening is relatively easy on the eyes, the rest is much more gross.) It starts with a young guy who is meant to be seen as a freak, since he is obsessive with cleaning. We see him around school, trying to confess to his childhood friend who everyone loves too! Either way, after some time, he realises that his love has turned into... bloodlust?! What?! Character Development: As I stated, she starts being quite energetic, forcing Kamishiro to go out and being nice to everyone who confesses to her. Basically, perfect popular girl. After chapter... what, 2? She ends up getting partial amnesia; after chapter 9, she gets infected and is terribly strong. She is then quiet and reserved and is barely seen, since she needs to be rescued from the hands of The Mastermind.

Character development: He gets some development, but it feels like it comes out of nowhere. After chapter 10, aka only a 1 month timeskip, he is suddenly more serious, not scared by anything at all, nor is he afraid of confrontation. He now believes in the "power of love" and friendship and basically becomes way more average of a protagonist than before. If I recall correctly, we only see him cleaning like three times (even when that used to be his main character trait), so he even lost that. This manga is centered around a disease known as Intellect Destruction, or ID for short. For those that are infected with ID, feelings of love towards someone invoke feelings of bloodlust towards that same person, and thus they feel a desire to kill those they are in love with. Very few people know about this disease’s existence, and thus when a high school boy named Kamishiro suddenly and unexpectedly wants to kill Nov 24 Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space Releases an Update Featuring a New Episode 'The Cliffs of Wyrmrest (Wryz Saga I)' on November 24 THIS IS NOT A MASTERPIECE. Not even damn close. I see lots of praise for this manga and people calling it a masterpiece. While I might respect their opinion, I also have the right to say that this manga doesn't even deserve to even dream of being a masterpiece. Despite that all bring said, it is still pretty good. The art is great. All of the gore (like it or not) is all drawn very well. There are some iffy spots where it's hard to tell what's going on, but for the most part, it's very clean, modern, pleasing to the eye, and makes you feel everything that's going on. The story struggles more. The overall plot is very good. No spoilers but the premise and what direction this manga takes plot wise is all very good. However, there are elements that are just flat out stupid. For example, for some reason the manga uses "the power of love" to a stupid level of cheesiness. It's not even for parody sake. It's actually a serious reason as a way to conquer problems which is just absolutely ridiculous that the author decided to use such a lazy form of writing. Even if they still used the same concept but tried to build on it/hide it more i would find it more acceptable but they don't even try to do that. There are many more issues with the story but I don't want the main idea to remain that the story is still pretty solid Art. Hmmmhm. The art is very nice. Easy to read. Not much to complain. Except for one flaw. Male characters tend to be a bit more varied in terms of facial design, however female characters suffer from the ''same face'' syndrome, where it looks like the same person with a different wig. It's not really bothering too much, I just personally take more attention to the art, so occasionally I see 2 different characters and notice they look identical. But shouldn't be much of an issue for most people.Per questi motivi... mi sacrificherò e continuerò a leggere nonostante tutto, sperando in un miracolo.

It's got an interesting premise and sets up lots of mysteries within the first few chapters that keep you guessing. I wouldn't really categorize it as a typical shounen, mostly because it doesn't really feel like the stereotypical shounen. It doesn't have the same predetermined structure where the character trains to beat a boss type character and then faces another boss type character and this continues on for many, many chapters. (Just as a side note, I love shounen manga, so I wouldn't mind if that was the case, but that really isn't the structure of this manga) I think this feeling stems from the fact that it doesn't really have the same separating arc structure of a shounen; all the plot things bleed together.awalnya kamishiro berniat mengungkapkan perasaannya kepada teman masa kecil sekaligus cinta pertamanya, hanasono mika, tapi semua berubah ketika perasaannya bercampur dengan naluri membunuh. disepanjang volume 1, kamishiro menahan diri untuk tidak berfantasi mengenai darah dan raut kesakitan hanasono. dia pikir, menghindari hanasono dan melakukan percobaan bunuh diri akan mempermudah keadaan. tapi cerita tidak berjalan sesederhana itu, ada banyak rintangan yang menanti, termasuk bertemu dan melawan orang-orang lain yang terinfeksi. Character Design: Just like Kamishiro, Average face, average weight, average personality. She has blonde, medium lenght hair. That's.. what else can I possibly say? 3/10 We see similar things in film and television. The first season of Hannibal took murder as an art form to a whole new level.

A mysterious outbreak that turns love into bloodlust that begins to run rampant. Kamishiro (MC) has a vivid hallucination of stabbing his childhood friend, Hanazono bercerita tentang kamishiro taku yang terinfeksi penyakit menular bernama "bloodlust". penyakit ini menimbulkan naluri haus darah, mengontrol perasaan dan pikiran seseorang untuk membunuh orang yang dicintai. semakin mencintai, maka semakin kuat perasaan ingin membunuh. Having said that, it's also very similar to Kiseijyuu and Tokyo Ghoul; probably another half a dozen other titles with similar plot lines... Of course, our protagonist only wants to kill her because he’s infected. This takes the “burden” of agency out of the equation, and makes the story seem indulgent a bit in a weird ass incel fantasy.First of all, I'd have to say that the story is very and I mean very reminiscent of ''Alive'', another manga which has a The members of Rudiment, or the protagonist's team, are also a bunch of stereotypical or average guys. We have the energetic, short tempered guy who believes in friendship and has spiky hair. The quiet, intelligent, glass wearing guy who is the strategist. The short girl who had a traumatic past and looks kinda average too but loves the protagonist. The doctor is also the "older woman who drinks but can be serious" type. Then we have Neibu, who is probably the only interesting guy in the team. He is foreign, has kind of a weird hairstyle, is the leader and is really smart but isn't afraid to show his feelings for his teamates and always seems to think ahead. Before chapter 9, he is seen as a very dangerous man, someone who is linked to many deaths and also makes a scary and threatening face towards the protagonist. He never makes this face again. He also has some kind of... keychain thing? It is never explained but it is shown a lot. I just started vol. 2, and I’m getting the feeling this is going to be a Cain/Abel out of Sandman dynamic, where the girl can regenerate and sometimes lets the protagonist kill her 🤦‍♂️

This book dabbles in that. I think it is mainly just trying to make cute ladies look cute while dead. I don’t think they are too focused on death aesthetic (in Hannibal it is a visual priority and integral to the story). It is worth noting. Alright, so I finally finished Konya wa tuski. It's only 35 chapters long, but I say "finally" because I had to struggle to reach the end. Not because it drags on, but because it wasn't much of an enjoyable read. I honestly considered dropping this manga many times, but I continued going since I felt I just had to write a review for it. I've enjoyed it so far, and the plot moves pretty steadily so I haven't gotten bored reading. The characters are interesting, but the story focuses much more on Kamishiro and larger plot points and action scenes rather than exploring side characters. I think it could use more side character development and more hints about the larger mysteries, but it's been a pretty good read so far. tl;dr: A manga with a decent horror focused start that becomes a lot worse when it becomes action oriented. I wouldn’t have minded the edge and the raging puberty in the plot – I came for them: one has to read teen angsty action sometimes to mantain the balance in the world – if not for the absolutely disgusting and out of place torture imagery. I am not sure why it’s suddenly acceptable to have spreads with main heroine being strangled on her own intestines and dragged along the street by a car in shounen now. Even if these are “visions”.through the throat with an umbrella. Without a clear understanding of what this bloodlust and struggling to control it, the real story and mystery begins. The Mastermind (so as to not spoil who they are, though at this point I guess you don't really care about spoilers). When we are given a hint about his identity in chapter 14 I just found myself yawning. If you have read any manga similar to this, you would inmediately know who he is. It's not a surprise at all, and his character is unoriginal. He is the usual "bastard" character. His visual design is plain too. He is shorter than average though! 1.5/10 Here we have the same trope, but it takes center stage. This guy wants to kill the cutest girl in school, but he also wants her to live. So this cognitive dissonance is at the heart of the story, and what it might represent is admirable. I have just seen it so many times.
