KitKat Green Tea Matcha for the European market is manufactured in Hamburg, Germany using UTZ-certified cocoa beans and real Matcha green tea from Japan and China. There are no artificial colours, flavors or preservatives. Originally, it is a sponge cake filled with banana-flavored cream. The outer sponge cake is soft and light, while the inner filling is creamy and has a distinctive banana flavor. KitKat Chocolatory Sublime Matcha features Couverture chocolate, a very high-quality chocolate that contains a higher percentage of cocoa butter other varieties of chocolate. Woven into this rich chocolate is ground Gyokuro tea leaves, resulting in the heavier aroma of matcha and jade green color. The four-finger treat will be available in retailers across Europe starting in late February.
