Not counting Psycho Silver, due to being a fake, Trek is the only true Psycho Ranger who isn’t a cyborg like the rest of Astronema’s Psycho Rangers, due to being the original Psycho Ranger himself. Retroactively, he is also referred to as the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger or Green Mighty Morphin Ranger, Mighty Morphin Green Ranger or Green Mighty Morphin Ranger, as well as Zeo Red Ranger or Red Zeo Ranger, though these are in reference to the show, as opposed to proper labels. His brother, David, was adopted by Sam Trueheart, although the two would not meet until Tommy was 18. They tied at 4-4 despite Jason being labeled "Angel Grove's finest [martial artist]" by the announcer but the fight had earned him Jason's respect.

With his powers gone once again, Tommy leaves Angel Grove, again, spending time at his uncle's lakeside cabin. With Ninjor's help, Tommy and the others gained Ninja Ranger powers, which drew on the life force of its Ranger, rather than an external source, and would help them in many battles.

Using his Dragon Dagger that he received from Rita, the Green Ranger summoned his Zord, the Dragonzord, to destroy Angel Grove. Studios' Power Rangers comic book storyline "Shattered Grid", about the character's war against all of the incarnations of the Power Rangers and their enemies throughout their universe's timeline with Frank portraying Lord Drakkon in its promotions. When the other Rangers are teleported to the Command Center, Tommy reveals himself to be the new White Ranger with a sentient sword named Saba. The legacy continues with figures, vehicles, collectibles, and roleplay toys from Hasbro, celebrating ranger teams from Mighty Morphin to the Beast Morphers. At some point in his life, Tommy took an interest in martial arts, mainly karate, and he later became a master at it.

The Dragonzord Battle Mode Ninja Power Star is a special Ninja Power Star that bears the likeness of the Dragonzord in Battle Mode and is marked with the kanji for "machine. As with the original Tommy, once the Green Ranger's spell was broken, the other Tommy began to feel bad for what he had done.

In the original draft script for the Green Dream, Lord Zedd claims the Sword of Power was created from the remains of the Sword of Darkness. She plans to drain their energy to power a time machine that will allow her to contact her past self and alter the timeline in her favor. Some of our vintage or prior versions of toy and game instructions may be more difficult to decipher or have less clarity. While out walking with Kimberly, Tommy is attacked and captured by Goldar and taken to Rita's Dark Dimension.

This includes him and Trini fighting the Invenusable Flytrap, him posing from " The Green Candle, Part II", and the Dragonzord emerging from Angel Grove Quay from " Breaking The Spell.

Despite this resolve, he cannot help but feel sympathy for Trent when his students did not, reminding the others of his tenure as the evil Green Power Ranger. Not long thereafter, when Rita's green candle sapped the Green Ranger powers, Tommy bestowed what remained of them on Red Ranger Jason. In the meantime, Alpha re-established Zordon's link with the dimension and the Megazord was recovered. Before all is lost to Rita, Zordon tells Tommy to give his coin to another Ranger with a strong link to the Morphin Grid to prevent Rita from getting its powers. Tommy reveals he has remained sane because the clips reminded him that he was such a good person, Ranger or not.

AC and DC charged and Nimrod barraged the two with her energy balls but they were unfazed and Tommy has the Red Dragon Thunderzord eject from the White Tigerzord. Tommy is the perfect candidate to take on the powers for his bravery and determination from his Green Ranger days. Due to its unique construction and controls among the Dinozords, it was controlled at various points by Tommy Oliver, the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger; Jason Lee Scott, the Red Ranger; Tommy's clone, Tom Oliver; and several villains. After Rocky chose to leave because of a karate accident, young Justin Stewart joined as the Blue Turbo Ranger.Frank passed away in November 2022, after the conclusion of principal photography but before the special was released on Netflix. Later, Tommy meets Kat Hillard, who has been enchanted by Rita into serving her, resulting in Kimberly's powers being stolen as well as the Falconzord. Despite his positive attitude however, Tommy decides to go to his uncle's cabin outside of Angel Grove to get his bearings even as Jason has to save his friends from Pipebrain and Ranger specific Green Candle equivalents. As the Psycho Rangers were conceived on TV as evil counterparts to the Space Rangers, who lacked a Green Ranger, a Psycho Green did not exist on-screen.
