It all starts at five, when Master Bartlett see’s a Victorian lady standing over his mother’s bed. He tells his grandmother who tells him its nothing out of the ordinary and there was nothing to worry about. Good advice you might think but she didn’t mean it was just a ordinary cause or any number of other possible reasons and then explained them to him …she meant It was normal because she was a psychic and claimed to have those experiences herself. And so it begins. The picture I envisage from Ross’ theory is this; Imagine there are infinite number of straight vertical, never-ending lines. All the lines are dotted with markers – a bit like the London Underground Station “circles”. If you are currently on a particular path, but then choose a different path, you hop over to a maker on another line. However, it seems there is a catch to this theory, as we are not in fact flitting through life on some random joy ride, as our consciousness has already pre-destined the outcomes. During the next year, Ross will continue with his public demonstrations, in salons, theaters, pubs and discos. The Teen Psychic will also take his work to Norway and Sweden, where he reports that clairvoyance is becoming very popular. He has traveled to the United States for private one-on-one readings. In addition, Ross has just completed the first stage of his autobiography, which will be published in January 2013. Interesting; earth, angel, spirit………….I ponder the symbolic reference, on a conscious level, and I seem to get it, not sure, what IT is but it’s like a knowing without knowing and no words can describe the resonance? Weird! It is this inherited set of attitudes and beliefs – that the vice-chancellor of the University of the Free State, Jonathan Jansen, called Knowledge in the Blood that is the most insidious and therefore the most difficult to undo. (Some might say Jansen undermined his own work with his tendency to forgive racists at his own institution too easily.)

Good points Fluffet. From what you write it sounds like Ross may well be as much a victim as his audience. He has been over indulged for too long and it is really all he knows. He has been so conditioned to believe in his "abilities" that it becomes even harder to break that conditioning. He has been brain washed whilst he has been indulged and encouraged by his family and church. The readings I have seen certainly do not indicate that he is in any way the real McCoy. In fact he is not even good. The question I have is that if he does indeed genuinly believe in his "abilities" as a 17 year-old at what stage does he have to start taking responsibility for what he is doing? Television has included two series of Angels with Gloria Hunniford, Come dine with Me, Live from Studio Five, A sister’s loss, Sky Documentary and Street Seer.Be who you are – Reflect your own personality – Take one-step at a time – Practice, practice, practice – Remember why you started” Be who you are – Reflect your own personality – Take it one step at a time – Practice, practice, practice – Remember why you started” I had the pleasure to chat with Teen Psychic, Ross Bartlett this week, and believe me I was blown away. The nineteen year old from Southern England is the most calm, relaxed, spiritually centred, western-world teenager I have ever spoken with. Well, grilled.

At the tender and, some might say, highly significant age of fourteenth, Ross began meditation classes at his local Spiritualist Church. Soon the church offered him a place in a closed (private) development circle. The circle taught him to open up to the Spirit World, strengthen his links and communication skills, and hone his clear seeing. They continued with the meditation, practising visualisation techniques and more importantly trained him to close himself down, so spirit could not pop in as and when they felt like it. Since 2005 she has travelled throughout Europe and the whole of the UK demonstrating her amazing gift, including touring with Colin Fry and attending shared stage venues with Derek Acorah, Ross Bartlett, Most Haunted and Stephen Holbrook. Secrets mean isolation, feeling different isn’t good when your surrounded by those who appear to seamlessly just fit in. Funnily enough it’s at this time he begins to attend spiritualist church more regularly. He doesn’t have to keep any secrets there, they understand, they’re like him, there he is included and valued. The real affirmation and belief begins in earnest. In conclusion, to me, to refer to Ross Bartlett as anything but a young man would be disrespectful, although the label “Teen Psychic” has really catapulted him into the fray. He is polite, friendly, aware of his own responsibility for the work he does, very curious, knowledgeable, forward-thinking and, in my opinion, exudes humility. At 8 he attends his first meeting at a spiritualist church with his mother. He says he remembers keeping his experiences a secret from his friends and family fearing as any kid does at that age difference and exclusion. What more reassuring than to have your mother and those around you tell you its all real and not only that but they experience it too. Suddenly your included, part of something .The seeds are well and truly sewn. Someone who deeply believed in it all just as he does now. All entirely understandable and something I can identify with myself. This young scientific, yet extrasensory, mind offers more theories and little gems of wonderment to ponder.”"God” is energy, is all-powerful, is everything and knows everything……………… (God) is not governed, or restricted, by time. Energy cannot be created or destroyed because it is everything.” And everything he has been told, everyway he has been shaped, everything he’s had reinforced and assured in him is encapsulated in that one sentence …a sentence that no 17 year old kid would ever conceive of saying otherwise.
