Description

Within the Telon Reach was an Ork empire that rivalled that centred on Ullanor, and at its heart was the scrap world of Gorro. The Ork tech-caste, the Mekboyz, dominated the Orks of Gorro and had made the world their own. The Orks have been a threat to Humanity and the other intelligent species of the galaxy since before the earliest days of the Imperium, but the 41st Millennium marks an unprecedented surge in Greenskin activity. The galaxy trembles as a Great WAAAGH! echoes through the stars and beyond: Gitfink Hollowskull - Orks are natural looters and are always after bigger and better trophies. Gitfink has taken this to the extreme; anything he stomps ends up hanging from the hull of his Morkanaut. The collection of skulls, hull plates and other shiny stuff clanks and bangs whenever it moves, leaving his foes in no doubt that something big is coming for them.

Whether it’s constructing deadly dakka or designing wobbling bubbles of force to protect their fellow Orks, Meks are always ready to take on the next big challenge. Don’t forget that this triggers at the startof the Battle Round, so you can use it on the very first turn of the game if you’re particularly worried about enemy shooting and need that invulnerable save. On the surface, Orks lore is really simple. Orks spend most of their time fighting one another, the winners growing larger and claiming ever larger territories. Specialists such as the Mekaniaks, who are born with an innate understanding of technology, or the Painboys, who provide Ork ‘medicine’, allow the Ork species to conquer whole worlds, then solar systems, then sectors. Rokstik Ironstitch - All Meks like to tinker with things, but Rokstik's enthusiasm includes himself. With the help of his Painboy, the Mek looted three of his four limbs from other Orks. His Morkanaut is similarly patchwork, its riot of colour evidence of many "donors". M41 A Growing Threat - Segmentum commanders across the Imperium report an alarming upsurge in Ork activity. More WAAAGH! than ever before must be combatted.

The Ullanor Crusade was a vast Imperial assault on the Ork empire of the Overlord Urrlak Urruk during the Great Crusade in the final year of the 30th Millennium. Here are some key points to remember when reading this Primer, mainly to save it being typed out every time. Don’t forget that this presumes you have the Codex, so some basic things may not be explained here. Da Krunch (WC 6)- Roll D6 for each model in an enemy unit within 18”, doing a Mortal Wound for each 6, or for each 5+ if cast on a 9+. Decent for thinning the ranks of larger squads, though Orks can do that fairly well already. Doesn’t need Line of Sight so can help a bit there, but will not be inflicting massive damage outside of good rolls on large units. The Orks' unquenchable thirst for battle has always proved their downfall: historically, the Ork tribes have spent much of their time fighting amongst themselves, waging brutal wars with only the strongest surviving. On occasion, an Ork leader will emerge who is mighty enough to defeat his rivals and unite the warring tribes.

M41 The Tide Rises Higher - The incidence of Ork WAAAGH!s reach epidemic levels across the Imperium in this year. The forces of the Adeptus Astartes and Astra Militarum, already under incredible pressure from a multitude of threats, find themselves stretched thinner still as they are forced to respond to one Ork invasion after another. Many cannot be stopped, and countless human worlds are overrun by the swarming masses of belligerent Greenskins. explode’ essentially translates to ‘An unmodified 6 to Hit does an additional hit’, so read that as ‘Does 2 Hits instead of 1’. Per the Core Rules, anything that might also happen on a 6 to hit (such as auto-wounding) does not apply to the additional hit, only the original. Da Killa Klaw- Makes a Power Klaw Ap-4 and Dmg3, and removes the -1 to Hit. A reliable and potent melee Relic, effectively ensuring only invulnerables will apply, and even then most things are dead and gone after only failing 2 saves.

The Artists’ Proof edition of the mega-armoured Ork Big Mek is the perfect opportunity for you to try your hand at painting a large-scale greenskin. Armed and equipped with the same wargear as the painted version, you can add your own creative flair to this awesome action figure to make it truly your own. Tyranid Genestealer Some Meks specialize in designing weapons of mass destruction, while others focus on more practical applications, such as building custom vehicles and fortifications. Whatever their specialty, Meks always find a way to make the impossible possible.

A Big Mek has to be both kunnin' and fixy to pilot a Morkanaut, and that goes double for Big Mek Mogrok's ladz. During the Red WAAAGH!, Mogrok gathered together some of his best Big Meks and unleashed them on the defenders of Alaric Prime by the most direct invasion vector he could devise. WAAAGH! Ghazgkull: A Codex Orks Supplement (7th Edition), pp. 36, 42, 51, 71, 81, 102, 106-107, 124-126, 136, 145, 166, 178, 201-202It's the magneto transfer conduits. I thought we was out of the right alloy mix and that was sending it all zoggy." If, for example, a Mekboy needs to build a Plasma Pistol, he begins to construct what he imagines a Plasma Pistol to be. Sometime during this process (assuming that it is not cut short in an explosive fashion), it occasionally begins to function as such, even if Imperial scholars and Tech-adepts cannot determine how this occurred. There are other, less common weapons and things found on Deffkoptas such as kannister bomb droppers, rippa-saws on long extendable arms, Squig-parachutes, and large wing-mounted mirrors (reasons unknown!).
