Description

Muichiro Tokito is a rare gem among the Demon Slayers, a prodigy who has managed to achieve what takes others years to accomplish in mere months. It is said that it takes at least five grueling years of intense training to become a Demon Slayer, but Muichiro's exceptional talent and dedication allowed him to become a Hashira after only two months in the Corps. In fact, only one other Hashira, the mighty Gyomei, has achieved such a feat, but considering the age difference between the two, Muichiro's exceptional abilities are truly awe-inspiring. When he tries to push the topic about Suma further, she becomes alarmed at such a touchy subject, asking why he wants to know. Tanjiro tries to lie but his sincere nature clashes with his dishonesty, eventually saying that Suma is his older sister, and that he is here to look for her. Koinatsu, relieved that "Sumiko" isn't pushing the subject matter out of gossip but concern, agrees that Suma did not abandon her role as an oiran from loving someone, though she adds that her diary was found and had hints of her leaving inside; Tanjiro hears this and believes the diary is forged and Suma is missing. After hearing about Muichiro's death at the hands of Kokushibo, Tanjiro shed tears over the loss of his friend and vowed to himself he would continue fighting hard.

Although she is not seen again afterwards, it is presumed that she would have fled Yoshiwara safely, as her friend Suma had been directing the evacuation of everyone in the area, when the battle between the Demon Slayers and the Upper Six siblings began to become more intense. The two siblings survived together, though while Muichiro took after the emotive and kind nature of their father, Yuichiro instead held a cold and impassive outlook on life. Behind his cold and carefree personality lies a complex and mysterious past that has left fans of the anime and manga series eager to unravel the depths of his character.Third Form: Scattering Mist Splash ( 参 ( さん ) ノ 型 ( かた ) 霞 ( か ) 散 ( さん ) の 飛 ( し ) 沫 ( ぶき ) , San no kata: Kasan no Shibuki ?) - The user becomes one with the mist, causing them to be untouchable for a few seconds and it can be used at any time. Awakening the Demon Slayer Mark comes at a steep price. Demon Slayers who have awakened their mark are said to, without exception, die before reaching the age of 25. [21] [22] Kokushibo states that awakening the mark merely reduces the lifespans of their bearers in exchange for greater power, [23] while Gyomei Himejima describes it as "paying one's lifespan in advance in the exchange for a greater physique." However, Kokushibo managed to survive through accepting Muzan Kibutsuji's offer to become a demon, living for roughly another four centuries after aging past 25, indicating that gaining eternal life through demonification allows one to cheat the mark's curse. [24] The meaning of first kanji of Yuichiro's name, "existence" ( 有 ( ゆう ) , yu ?) stands in stark opposition to the first kanji of his brother Muichiro's name, as that kanji means "nothingness". Muichiro Tokito | Kimetsu no Yaiba Wiki | Fandom

That is all about to change in the latest episode of the Demon Slayer anime, but what actually happened to the Mist Hashira when he was a child, and what happened to his older brother, Yuichiro Tokito? Omnipresent Rage: Muichiro's willpower and strength stem from his awakened rage, which is always present within him. He remained resolute in battle despite fatal injuries. Tokito remains on fish duty and peeks into his physically painful past to highlight what a difference simple acts of kindness can make. He’s able to clear the mist from his head, which functions as an effective metaphor for Tokito’s trusted role as the Demon Slayer Corps’ Mist Hashira. It’s an extra element that’s arguably not necessary, but it provides a little more clarity for the character in a manner that still feels natural. Tokito’s callous roots also add greater weight to the simple moment when Toketsu hugs Tokito after he’s been rescued. It’s a perfectly reasonable reaction, yet one that really speaks volumes and shows how far empathy goes in this cutthroat world. Ideally, both of these characters will survive the Swordsmith Village Arc and even grow into a team.

Bright Red Nichirin Sword: Bearers of the Demon Slayer Mark can dye their Nichirin Swords a shining bright red color mainly through clashing their blade with another marked swordsman's or gripping it with tremendous force. Bright Red Nichirin Swords have the ability to generate intense heat and also hamper the regeneration of demons, some of which on the level of the strongest Upper Ranks of the Twelve Kizuki and the Demon King himself. The story does not indicate which child of Michikatsu carries on the lineage nor the quantity of generations that follow. Overall Abilities: Muichiro is a powerful and skilled combatant, known for his talent and accomplishments at a young age. He became a Hashira after just two months of training, a feat achieved only by Gyomei Himejima. Muichiro can easily overpower older Demon Slayers like Tanjiro and Genya. After awakening his Demon Slayer Mark, he defeated Upper Rank Five Gyokko single-handedly. His techniques and contributions were crucial in defeating Upper Rank One Kokushibo. Demon Slayer Mark: Muichiro's mark increases his offensive and defensive abilities when activated, granting him increased strength. However, the mark's effects are temporary and he suffers from the poison's effects once it disappears.

Immense Stamina & Endurance: Muichiro has incredible stamina and endurance, remaining steadfast even with severe injuries. He continued fighting despite having his arm, legs, and torso sliced.Enhanced Physical Capabilities: Upon awakening the Demon Slayer Mark, the physical strength and speed of the bearer is exponentially increased to the point where Hashira or Hashira-level Demon Slayers are able to overpower and defeat the Upper Ranks of the Twelve Kizuki and grow in power comparable to the highest among them. It is implied that the bearer's physical arm strength is increased by around 100x after awakening the mark, though it could be a hyperbole and thus the value could be much lower. [11] The increase in the speed of the bearer is quite apparent as well, as seen when Muichiro Tokito, who was initially having trouble dealing with Gyokko's various techniques, [12] [13] became capable of regularly out-speeding and even blitzing Gyokko in his true form after activating his mark. [14] [15] [16] After being woken up by a gentle nose pinch, Tanjiro and Tokito had their first non-adversarial conversation. Tokito asked Tanjiro if he knew the swordsmith Kanamori, and Tanjiro replied that he did and the two could look for him and Haganezuka together. Tokito asked him why he cared so much for other people, and Tanjiro responded earnestly with the reasoning that if one does good deeds for others, it will come around eventually to help them. Tokito seemed surprised and even elated by this statement, asking Tanjiro to repeat himself, but before the cause could be investigated, Upper Moon Four crept into their room, instantly catching their attention. Rapid Advancement: Tengen Uzui mentions that Muichiro became a Hashira after just two months of training with a sword.

Muichiro, descendant of the first swordsman who pioneered the breath styles, is hailed as a genetic prodigy. From an early age, he exhibited innate powers that manifested unconsciously, fueled by a profound sense of hatred, particularly when it came to protecting his elder brother, Yuichiro. One day, a little boy in a village was playing with his toy Tokito. Tokito was his most favorite wooden toy to play with. He ran into the Garden of Tulips with his friend Tokito. No one was around to see, nor hear what had happened to poor little Tokito. Demon Slayer Mark: Muichiro's mark is first awakened during his battle against Upper Moon Five, Gyokko. The mark appears as several mist-like shapes on his face and arms. When activated, he gains a tremendous increase in speed, strength, and reflexes. The power increase grants him the strength to move his severely poisoned body but once the mark vanishes he immediately begins suffering from the effects of the poison, showing that the mark is only effective while it is manifested.Enhanced Resistance: The Demon Slayer Mark increases the bearer's resistance to Muzan Kibutsuji's demon-transforming blood, [17] much like Total Concentration Breathing. She is later asked by her young assistants to read them books. Before doing so, Koinatsu gives them special kanzashi hairpins as a gift, even though they were meant for her. That night, alone in her room after sending them away for dinner, she is suddenly met by Tanjiro, who has shed his disguise and is equipped with his Demon Slayer uniform and Nichirin sword. When Tanjiro apologizes for hiding himself, Koinatsu notes that she knew he was a male the entire time. Warning: Major spoilers for those who have yet to start watching Season 3 or haven’t read Chapter 98 of the manga. Suma, a wife of the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui, was tasked with being recruited into the Tokito House to observe and search for a supposed demon in Yoshiwara. Koinatsu presumably got to know Suma and befriended her, as she believed she wouldn't run away from her duties as an oiran when Suma suddenly disappeared.
