We have had a pair of these shears for about 2 years and would not have any other (we bought these as a second pair for our holiday cottage). They look as if they are made to last, and i feel sure we will get many years service from them, although we always wash them by hand, never in the dishwasher. Just be a bit careful when washing/drying, though, as the blades are sharper than they look!
