It's nice to see the Legend of Korra characters back for another comic book, I'd recommend it to those who are looking for more content after finishing the series.

Join Korra, Asami, Mako, Bolin, Tenzin, and more familiar faces from The Legend of Korra, featured in stories specially crafted by a bevy of talented comics creators! A beautifully illustrated anthology, it was lovely seeing Korra’s first encounter with Naga, Asami interacting with her mother, and Korra and Asami guiding Jinora as she begins to learn more about what defines her as an individual. Of course, Korra has a lot of time in the spotlight or even background appearances in comics that center around others.

Lost Pets" - When Meelo shirks his duties at the refugee camp, Korra recruits him for tracking down a pack of lost pets. In a similar vein to the writing, several different creators worked on the art and coloring which gave each comic its own unique look. Michael Dante DiMartino is an American animation director best known as the cocreator, executive producer, and story editor of the animated TV series Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra , both on Nickelodeon.But it’s a great read for Legend of Korra fans looking for a few new comics to dig into that take the story past the show’s finale and the sequel comics. For a book that literally says “Join Korra, Asami, Mako, Bolin [and] Tenzin” on the back it sure has zero Mako and Bolin, almost no Asami, and two entire stories focused on Meelo. Patterns of Time had a nice balance of stories focused on the extended cast – from a Jinora-centered story where she spends time with Asami and Korra to a surprisingly wholesome comic that follows Bumi and Meelo. Although whenever there is doubt it's a nice touch that they don't shy away from reaching out to others to ask for tips. What is worse, majority of them focused on characters I am not particularly fond of and many of them seemed.

Wisdom" - In the distant past, a young airbender seeks out Guru Laghima to ask about the quest for wisdom. Three stories ( Friends for Life, Lost Pets, and Clearing the Air) were previously released during past years FCBD, while the remaining five are brand new. Jayd A ït-Kaci, Sam Beck, Heather Campbell, Delilah Dawson, Michael Dante DiMartino, Blue Delliquanti, Jen Zu, K.I genuinely laughed at a few moments, which is always a good sign for stories set in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe. It took a year to release this book, and unfortunately it's the first in the series to make me disappointed. This is an anthology of stories of which some take place before the animated show, when Korra and Asami were younger, and some take place after the Kuvira arc from the comics.
