Update: I now much prefer Mancera's Lemon Line over this fragrance. The drydown of ALM is overwhelmed by a chemical oud note, while Lemon Line is more natural and uplifting. I can guarantee that Instant crush can make you feel confident and seductive on your night out at the parties. Mint is barely noticeable, but it does the job. I have noticed that this mint accord comes and goes from the official note listing which is probably due to the reformulations that occasionally happen. One thing that each Mancera perfume box includes is a faux leather perfume bagwhich is nice and handy even for keeping other stuff inside besides the actual perfume. You’ll mainly get fresh Grapefruit and other Summer fruit notes like Mandarin Orange, bergamot, apple, pineapple, and peach on the opening.

If you ever wondered how Summer in Italy smells like, then get a hold of Mancera Sicily, and you’ll know. I know, not everyone likes the smell of tobacco. I also could not believe that I’d ever wear a tobacco-based cologne until I tried out Mancera Red Tobacco.

This fragrance line currently consists of more than 15 different perfumes with each one taking a different story on Oud note. This synthetic is my biggest reservation against Montale and Mancera so far. Nearly all fragrances tested so far stood out due to very prominent fragrances, all of which seemed very synthetic. The large number of releases also makes me a little suspicious. I would prefer some selected, really balanced and rounder fragrances. Besides, Oud - or as Montale and Mancera call it - makes it: Aoud - not every fragrance more exclusive, more complex and therefore justifiably more expensive. It simply doesn't go well with some compositions, especially not with supposedly light and fruity fragrances. Also the abundant patchouli and here animal musk distort the beautiful top note in the course. Strong contrasts make perfumes really interesting. And the combination of something rather heavy like Aoud (by the way this is the correct transcription from Arabic) with fresh notes promises to be exciting. Unlike usual, there is no rose and no saffron in Aoud Lemon Mint, but strangely enough no mint either. The question arises how Mancera got the name. Aoud Lemon Almond Vanilla would of course have been a stupid, albeit more appropriate alternative. Aoud Lemon Mint by Mancera is a woody oriental fragrance for men and women and was released in 2016. The creator of this perfume is Pierre Montale. With the mixture of citruses, a slight touch of spices, and the aforementioned almond, the scent jumps from your skin and grabs the attention of the people around you.
