About this deal

Commander Farsight doesn’t just have a book dedicated to him – he’s also got an awesome new model, which is first available in Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire. This powerful assault force contains three Crisis battlesuits and 10 Fire Warriors, accompanied by a small shoal of Drones. It’s a firepower-first nightmare for enemy patrols, and even includes some close combat punch thanks to Farsight himself. As with the other Arks of Omen books, this is no different with lore advances along with some new rules for gameplay and factions. Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire Last but not least, we have the powerhouse of the Imperium that are the Grey Knights. These daemon killers are going to be storming space hulks and arks of omen, ready to cleanse them of Chaos filth. Chaos Space Marines are right at home on the claustrophobic corridors of a space hulk, and we’re not even convinced the Thousand Sons register much of the weirdness going on given the forces they tamper with. This Boarding Patrol pairs two Chaos Spawn with 20 Rubric Marines, bringing an impressive number of bodies and a pair of pskyers onto the board while the Spawn make a right mess of anything they encounter. This is actually a fairly decent box because non of the value is used up in special characters, meaning you just get a bunch of minis! Tyranids Boarding Patrol Box

Most of the Arks of Omen are fairly frothing with the malign power of the warp , bursting with mutants, daemons, and weird little guys with their eyes sewn shut for the inscrutable pleasure of dark patrons. And if there’s one thing the Grey Knights don’t like, it’s the shenanigans of Chaos. Boarding Patrol: Necrons is a dispassionate force of mechanised warriors featuring 10 Necron Warriors, three Canoptek Scarab Swarms, 10 Lychguard – who can be built as Triarch Praetorians outside of Boarding Actions – and three Ophydian Destroyers with a Canoptek Plasmactyte.Talk about squad options! Once again, this box has them. Crowe is pretty effective in close combat… but so is this entire fighting force. Everyone can move, shoot, and melee well. They are Grey Knights after-all. Chaos Daemons have – appropriately, given the arrival of Angron – manifested as a huffing and slavering crash of Khornate nightmares. 10 Bloodletters and 10 Flesh Hounds are led by Khorne’s favourite hunter – Karanak, the Hound of Vengeance. In the cramped confines of a space hulk, these frenzied killers will close the distance between enemy guns with warp-flushed speed and savagery. This is hard-hitting force includes three Crisis Battlesuits and a squad of 10 Fire Warriors, who are perfectly suited for close-quarters combat when assembled as a Breacher Team. The battlesuits have numerous short-ranged weapon options, which offer great utility against many different enemy types in tight spaces.

After you’ve rubbed your eyes awake from a 65 million year slumber, you’ll notice that this box has a nice helping of 27 total miniatures. Observe. Purge Corps Deltic-9 is led by a Tech-Priest Manipulus by the name of Skand, who goes to war protected from enemy fire by a squad of 10 Skitarii Vanguard . Manipulus Skand can choose to deploy with the Aspergilla of Tarentum Enhancement to mist his allies with an energy-diffusing oil that improves survivability, or he can boost his bodyguards’ weapons with extra range and cover-penetrating capabilities using Overcharged Electropositors . The Warhammer Community team has come up with a few of our own sample lists to see what’s possible. The complete list of what’s available is as follows – all cast in metal: Armageddon Steel Legion Officer with Power Sword, Armageddon Steel Legion Officer with Power Sword and Bolt Pistol, Armageddon Steel Legion Commissar, Armageddon Steel Legion Sergeant, Armageddon Steel Legion Infantry Squad, Armageddon Steel Legion Guardsman with Plasma Gun, Armageddon Steel Legion Heavy Bolter Weapons Team, and Armageddon Steel Legion Lascannon Heavy Weapons Team.

Tactically, boarding actions lists are all about navigating the new challenges of a space ship – and each mission brings fresh challenges,” Rich adds. “For example, which unit will you walk through a furnace to score Victory Points, and which unit do you task with guarding the OFF switch for said furnace? Building your ideal Boarding Patrol is the first of many decisions you’ll need to make.” Sneak into the Arks of Omen and cause some big green havoc with Boss Snikrot and his boyz. Boarding Patrol: Orks is a musclebound collection of tough-as-nails fighters led by the legendary Kommando Boss sporting a brand new model. In addition to Snikrot, you’ll board with five Flash Gitz, 10 Beast Snagga Boyz, and 10 Kommandos – who also drag along a reluctant Kommando Grot and far-too-enthusiastic Bomb Squig for the ride.* Boarding Patrol: Aeldari

Few things are as terrifying in a confined space as a Phoenix Lord. Jain Zar leads Boarding Patrol: Aeldari accompanied by five Howling Banshees, as well as 20 Corsair Voidscarred who can be assembled as any one of two different units. The Necron dynasties care not for the squabbles of lesser races – but they are keen to plunder the Arks of Omen, on the off-chance they may recover ancient heirlooms thought lost to time. Beats me. The Praetorian kit, fortunately, can be built into Lychguard – so you’ll have 10 in this set, who are a much better choice for a Boarding Patrol. So really, the Praetorians on the box should have been replaced with Lychguard – if they wanted to have variation, get the ones with the shields up and front. This set comes with a solid core of ten Necron Warriors that are going to be able to survive even the harshest of conditions. They are protected by a band of ten Lychguard which can also be built as Triarch Praetorians (although the second of these units can't be used in Boarding Actions). Finishing things off, you then have three of the deadly Ophydian Destroyers that are going to be able to snake their way deeper into the heart of these space hulks to cut your foes to pieces. There is also a Canoptek Plasmacyte that can help aid your killer robots. Here’s the savings and value breakdown of the three new Warhammer 40k Boarding Patrol box sets for the Grey Knights, Necrons, and Tyranids from Arks of Omen!

Currently, while we know the prices for most of the boxes, we’ll also have all of the new boxes listed, value-wise, for you below! One more thing to note, these are all valued with the updated 2023 GW pricing. Vashtorr the Arkifane’s quest for the Key-fragments is nearing its end, and the action turns to the dead world of Arthas Moloch in the fourth chapter in the epic narrative series, Arks of Omen: Farsight . Commander Farsight is just preparing to wrap up the vicious War of Dakka once and for all, when calamity strikes and his entire operation is jeopardised by the arrival of the Unhallowed space hulk and its Balefleet entourage. Bring the light of the Emperor to the void with Boarding Patrol: Adepta Sororitas, scouring the Arks of Omen with bolt, flame, and melta. A devout Canoness leads five Celestian Sacresants, 10 Sisters Repentia, and 10 Battle Sisters into the breach, making this a durable fighting force with plenty of power armour and some chainsword punch.

However, if you already have all the warriors you need, it’s not really going to do much for you. That’s basically what it comes down to for this box, if you want Warriors, get it. If not, you may want to pass on this one. Grey Knights Boarding Patrol Box Commander Shadowsun has bested near every foe that dared to stand against her, but the Death Guard present an altogether new challenge in Phil Kelly’s Shadowsun: The Patient Hunter . With ancient warriors and corpulent daemons confounding her understanding of reality, O’Shaserra will need to test her understanding of Kauyon and stretch her abilities to the limit to prevent an all-out schism between her forces and her allies. Gaunt’s Ghosts: The Victory Part Two (French Edition) Way out in the Damocles Gulf, another Key fragment lies waiting to be found on the dead planet of Arthas Moloch. The Farsight Enclaves of the T’au are forced to retreat to this blighted planet by the Ork hordes, just as one of Vashtorr’s many Arks of Omen arrives to claim this mysterious artefact… Abaddon and Vashtorr’s elaborate plan to conquer the galaxy is nearly impossible for mortal minds to comprehend, a thousand minor movements building to one grand reveal. The Tyranids, on the other hand, simply see the Arks of Omen as floating buffets full of tasty biomass.
