Weight changes. Changes in weight can cause the breast skin to stretch. It also can cause breast skin to become less elastic. A breast lift can reduce sagging and raise the position of the nipples. The surgery can also lift the darker areas surrounding the nipples (areolae). The size of the areolae may be made smaller to keep them in proportion to the newly shaped breasts. Schedule a mammogram. Your surgeon might recommend a baseline mammogram before the procedure. You may also need another mammogram a few months afterward. This will allow your medical team to see changes in your breast tissue and interpret future mammograms.

It also gives people confidence in their clothes and helps them feel good.” Initially, scars will appear red and lumpy. While scars are permanent, they'll soften and become thin within 1 to 2 years. Scars from a breast lift can usually be hidden by bras and bathing suits. Your breasts will be swollen and bruised for about two weeks. You'll likely feel pain and soreness around the incisions, which will be red or pink for a few months. Numbness in your nipples, areolae and breast skin might last for about six weeks. Steam in the shower: Some brands also suggest removing the product in a hot, steamy shower for the same reason that they recommend saturating the tape — it helps to lift the adhesive, allowing for easier removal.

The tape can be strategically placed to lift heavy or sagging breasts or to create more cleavage. A nipple cover on the other hand just prevents the nipple from poking through your shirt. It is not meant to provide any support. Some people will even apply a nipple cover first, then tape over it to get the benefit of both products. Avoid certain medications. You'll likely need to avoid taking aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs and herbal supplements, which can increase bleeding. This does bring a nipple cover. I lost it so I cannot tell you if using it more than once will be okay. As I said, the adhesive is strong so make sure you take it off as per instructions. Use oils or lotions. If you don't, it might hurt and even break skin.Talk to your provider about when — or if — your stitches will be removed. Some stitches dissolve on their own. Your provider must remove some types of stitches, often 1 to 2 weeks after the procedure. You can also complete this process laying down. Do not apply too much tension on the tape when pulling up, as it risks longevity of the adhesive and “it reduces the risk of irritation caused by excess skin traction.” Strong Adhesion: The boobtape and the nipplecovers have a strong adhesion and do not fall off easily. And they are waterproof, even though you are wearing it under the water or you sweat a lot, they will keep attached to the body like the second skin.
