About this deal

The action and adventure are in kids’ hands when Spider-Man takes on both Carnage and archenemy Venom. The evil alien Symbiote is at the controls of the Venom Crawler – and has contaminated Iron Man to become Iron Venom! Includes easy-to-follow instructions that ensure the creative construction and imaginative play start as soon as kids open the box. Bring superhero adventures to life with the exciting range of LEGO® Marvel Avengers playsets. Kids can recreate favorite movie scenes, make up stories of their own or simply put their awesome models on display. All LEGO® Marvel Spider-Man playsets are premium quality and designed to deliver maximum opportunities for imaginative, developmental play.

Then, of course, there's historical sets with extremely violent history like the Colosseum, but they won't make sets based on historical religious buildings . . . Which is certainly odd. Accessory elements include Spider-Man’s Super Jumper and SHIELD agent’s flying helmet and handcuffs Includes Spider-Man, Carnage and Ghost Rider minifigures. Ghost Rider’s robust, stylish car has a removable roof, removable flames and a 3-stud-shooter supercharger peeking out of its hood. For extra building fun, the free LEGO® Building Instructions app includes digital Instructions PLUS, which allows kids to zoom, rotate and visualize their playset as they build. LEGO® components satisfy strict industry standards to ensure they are consistent, compatible and connect and pull apart perfectly every time – it’s been that way since 1958.While on the topic of Star Wars, Jabba the Hutt. He's an obese, perverted slug who enjoys killing people by having them be eaten alive by monsters.

Several people were involved in the decision to produce the Osprey (even in a nonviolent Search and Rescue configuration) even though the company has a long-standing policy of not producing real military stuff. They got called on it, admitted they screwed up, and cancelled the release. Clearly what the company policy is, and employees’ comprehension of what the company policy is, are not perfectly in synch. But they’re not wishy-washy about it like Disney has been of late.

Details

The trio of classic Marvel characters, plus the amazing Ghost Rider car, provide kids with endless possibilities to build, play and display as they roleplay endless, imaginative superhero adventures. Some people seem to be unfamiliar with Carnage. Carnage is a spinoff of the Marvel villain Venom, who is a Spider-Man enemy that wears a living, symbiotic costume that Spider-Man himself once wore. While in prison, Venom's costume dropped an offspring that bonded with his roommate, a serial killer named Kletus Casady. So Carnage is approximately a much more violent version of Venom (and, in fact, the costume lives in his bloodstream, which is why it's red). Carnage recently had a significant event in the comics and will be the villain in the Venom 2 movie. I think you're speaking more to social inconsistency. Lego is just reflecting society's larger schizophrenia. The Universal theme park in Orlando had a Halloween event one year called "Maximum Carnage" where the Marvel zone went super dark one night. All the heroes were "killed" and Carnage and other villains ran rampant in the park. This was considered too violent to repeat." If this is tied to Venom: Let There Be Carnage (aka Venom 2), it's no surprise that Spiderman isn't included in the mix, since the previous Venom film makes no reference to the character or any part of the MCU, due to the quirkiness of Sony's licensing deal and relationship with Marvel Studios.
