Today, we have the luxury to be able to choose between literally hundreds of bags for cycling. Cycling bags generally fall into three categories, though: zip-through, roll-top or messenger. The other sort-of issue I had with the bags was the closure straps at the top: the velcro patches are not firm enough to hold the top of the bag folded without the straps but the straps are a bit fiddly to adjust.
