Description

The spice in this book is mild, however, the scenes still had me smiling and looking silly at my kindle. I would give it a 1-1.5 đŸŒ¶ rating on that aspect. F: The autobiographies of successful people tend to focus on their success. Yet you’ve written two autobiographical books and neither of them really cover that period. Is that deliberate? But I was very proud that I got to meet him. He started off like me working as a line cook – I worked in a Mexican restaurant, he was in a more high end French place – but he was a normal human who had something to say and people loved him. People loved him because he was honest and funny and spoke his truth. Cole, Cole, Cole. I knew for the very beginning that he was going to give problems. Once again the ambition proves his point of no return and the “end” of the character was perfect for me. ;) I love Crawford's smoothly executed writing style. The reader is immediately drawn into the story. The plot of the story is entertaining if not a little predictable at times. I couldn't pull myself away once I started reading. I enjoyed the world-building in this book. I like the Fae world that is layered over our own. I found myself craving more information about the Fae world as I kept reading.

When it comes to descriptions of the settings, i think that the author made an amazing job. The descriptions are as vivid as one could possibly wish. Five stars in this.

Imagine a world where society has fallen, humans eating other humans, and robots are superior to people. In the book, Frost by M.P. Kozlowsky, a world where society has fallens and there are human eating other humans has come true. 16 year old Frost is trapped inside a apartment and nowhere to go. Below on the ruined street roam eater, or more specifically, humans that eat other humans. She understands why her father, who has been the only human being that she has met told her to stay inside the apartment. But when her only friend, her pet falls ill, she is determined to get her pet medicine to save him. So when she learns about the life saving medicine located across the whole country, she embarks on a dangerous journey to save her only friend and pet. Throughout her journey, Frost must face a dangerous journey while experiencing emotions such as betrayal and love that she had never experience in her small, forgotten apartment. Have you ever felt that it’s just too dangerous to love people?”/ He was quiet. Something glistened in his eyes./” My parents, and now you.”

Sadly it wasn't for me. The blurb seemed so intriguing and the way it was marketed made it seem like a perfect read for any fantasy/fae book lovers but it wasn't the case. I don’t want to be one of those people that’s like, ‘I’m trying to help people.’ This is what happened to me and this is how I dealt with it and this is how I deal with it every day. And maybe you are a bit like that too, and if you are then have a read and hopefully you’ll get something from this. I’m aware that I come from a privileged place in terms of being fairly successful in the acting industry. I never want to come across as boring and disingenuous. F: Like pie in a bowl; pasta in a trumpet. OK, I have a pretentious question. What does food mean to you?
