Up top, Innokin has ditched the 510 connection, instead you get a 4.5ml capacity pod (2ml TPD) which is compatible with Innokin’s Z-Coils which also include a small airflow adjustment ring on the base as well as an AFC slider on the Kroma-Z device itself. I’ve no concerns about the durability of the device, the strength of the battery or the general day to day endurance of the Innokin Kroma-Z. I received the Mariana Blue which looks really nice from up close—but based on the pics, I really prefer the look of the Riverwood one. Still, the one I have looks great. The outside frame is a shiny brushed gunmetal that doesn’t fingerprint when you touch it. Reminds me of the nicer-looking mods of the past years like the Tesla Steampunk Nano 120.

The Kroma Z Pod by Innokin proposes comfort and technology of the moment in vaping. With an impressive battery of 3000 mAh, rapid recharge via USB-C. With an ideal power with the coils in included and the type of vape from 6 to 40 watts. The Kroma Z Kit is delivered with a Z coil 0.3Ω and Z Coil 0.8Ω, for a good choice with a vape in MTL or R-DL. Note: the Kroma Z is also entirely compatible with the all the excellent coils from the Z Coils and Z Coil Mesh (Zenith, Zlide, etc.). In fact its quite lightweight but certainly feels well constructed and very comfortable to hold as either a thumb, or finger firer. The rear of the top plate slopes at a 45 degree angle adding some aesthetic quality but generally more for ergonomics. It feels quite natural to rest a pinkie there if thumb firing is your persuasion. Battery Door and Housing I think the Innokin Z Force tank is solidly built. I received the 2ml straight glass version so the coil and inner chimney take up the majority of space, unfortunately.

The pod of the Kroma-Z is held in place with strong magnetic connectors. To remove the pod, grip it firmly and pull up from the top of the Kroma-Z. If it won’t budge free, try pushing up on one side of the pod firmly until it pops up from the base, and then lift the remaining side up. The kit comes with just the one pod, which I find is always a shame, especially considering the vast number of coils available to use with this system. It feels proper, it works very well, and it looks just great, nothing to complain about this device to be honest. The 3000mAh battery is amazing and being able to get almost 600 puffs on an MTL coil before having to charge is impressive.
