You would not be disappointed. Dolce and Gabbana l’imperatrice perfume is really tart and has an almost sour opening. The strong summer fruity notes are all discernible and this is great for summer days or tropical holidays. The staying power of the perfume is decent and it has a sweet tart drydown. It is a good one for the summer because of the fruitiness which you will enjoy if you like these kinds of perfumes. For a group known for their love of joyous dance, it was perhaps inevitable L’Impératrice would bring us a virtual dance floor at some point during their recording. Sure enough, at the gig’s mid-point, the location switched to the grandiose La Cigale – one of the oldest dance halls in Paris.
