TIP: Use Logitech Options to view available gesture sets and assign gestures to the middle button or to other mouse controls.

After two hours editing spreadsheets with the Logitech, my right hand started to feel a bit jittery, something that stopped when I switched to a larger mouse. To be fair, this is the inevitable side effect of a compact design and the Anywhere 3 is still the most comfortable compact mouse I’ve ever used. Logitech MX Anywhere 3 review: Should you buy one? We've converted this review to Test Bench 1.2. This update simplifies our Weight test and expands on our CPI test from Test Bench 1.1, resulting in changes to test results in both sections. For more details, you can see our complete changelog here. Whether I was editing documents, surfing the web, or doing photo editing, the MX Anywhere 3S provided extremely smooth and accurate pointer control. The sensor worked really well, even when I tried using it on a variety of weird surfaces, including my pants, a strip of clear plastic, and holding it against a glass window. The metal scroll wheel is a real bonus. Logitech boasts that the optical sensor will work on any surface and I have to agree. The Anywhere 3 functioned perfectly on a glass table and a desk with a highly reflective white top. If you are out and about and don’t want to carry a mouse mat, this level of surface tolerance is very handy. Like other Logitech MX mice, the MX Anywhere 3S has a MagSpeed scroll wheel that uses magnets that allow it to toggle between Freespin and Ratchet modes. You can initiate this change by hitting the Shift wheel mode button or using the SmartShift feature which changes modes based on how fast you are spinning the wheel. This is done with a two-button combination: Press and hold one of the side buttons and scroll with the wheel simultaneously. Connecting to my laptop with the USB receiver was effortless; I just wish Logitech found a place to store the dongle in the mouse. There is no integrated USB storage, so be careful not to lose the receiver when you unplug it from your device. Logitech MX Anywhere 3 features

With Logitech Flow, you can use the mouse cursor to move from one computer to the next. You can even copy and paste between computers, and if you have a compatible Logitech keyboard, such as MX Keys, the keyboard will follow the mouse and switch computers at the same time. This mouse allows you to use it with up to three different computers. Just use the Easy-Switch™ button to change the channel. Select the channel you want and go to the next step. Connect one end of the provided charging cable to the Micro-USB port on the mouse and the other end to a USB power source. Press and hold the Easy-Switch button for three seconds. This will put the mouse in discoverable mode so that it can be seen by your computer. The LED will start blinking fast. We've converted this review to Test Bench 1.4. This update modifies our Hand Size Recommendation test, adding a more granular hand size recommendation chart. We've moved several minor tests into different test groups, removed the Travel usage, and added a new Raw Performance usage. For more details, you can see our full changelog here.

In addition to enabling the buttons for use with Macs, Logitech Options software lets you assign other useful functions to the buttons, including undo/redo, OS navigation, volume up/down, and more. Bluetooth: Open the Bluetooth settings on your computer to complete the pairing. More details here. The LED on top of the mouse turns red to indicate that battery power is low and it’s time to change batteries. You will need to install Logitech Options software on both computers and follow these instructions.Connect one end of the provided charging cable to the USB-C port on the mouse and the other end to a USB power source.
