About this deal

Half-Press the button 8+ times. The light will now blink once, then strobe, blink twice, then strobe, blink three times, then strobe…After 5 blinks and a strobe, the sequence repeats. Alright, this is a Nichia 219b in the SW45 (4500k) color temperature. My favorite is the SW30, but the SW45 has a huge following. It’s known for it’s good CRI and rosy output. This light puts out 90 lumens if you use a standard AAA battery, or an admirable 240 lumens if you use a 10440. All of my readings were taken from a fully-charged Eneloop AA and Vapcell 10H 14500. Amps were measured with a Fluke 77III, at the tailcap. Because of that, Reylight flashlights are becoming collectibles over time. I presume that in about 5 years, many people are searching for a particular ‘Reylight’.

Do more with less and elevate your EDC with the ReyLight Pineapple Ti Mini, available at the link below. I have tested the ReyLight Pineapple Mini flashlight before. I liked it then! That one is brass, and at the time I was super into brass. I’ve sort of waned on brass and now I’m more interested in titanium (for no specific particular reason). So in that regard, I like the ReyLight Pineapple Mini Seigaiha flashlight in titanium just as much as I did in brass, but more now because it’s titanium. This Seigaiha design is a very nice touch, too! This newer one uses a Nichia 519a emitter, which of course, is fantastic. Long Review The Big Table ReyLight Pineapple Mini Ti-Stonewash SeigaihaTwo versions of the ReyLight Pineapple Mini Seigaiha flashlight in titanium exist. There’s this stonewashed version, as well as a bead-blasted version. Price b. 2 blinks: mode memory on-off toggle (default off). Press the button during the two blinks or during the strobe after to turn mode memory on. Repeat to turn mode memory off.

While I don’t have any issues with the LED, I do find that it’s mostly too cool for my tastes. I think it’s the right color temperature for a light of this size, and there are many worse options, so while I find it cool — I would struggle to suggest a better LED for a light like this. Too warm at low outputs from a small lens can really make it not perform well, and given that this is a daily carry light, it’s likely you will use it in daylight making this the right color temp to use. Where the Pineapple Mini in aluminum shines is the diameter and weight. It’s as skinny as my other AAA lights, while being as light as the Beta QR-v2 which weights the least of my small lights. This Pineapple Mini is thin and lightweight — which is a potent combo. Where it falls behind is the length, as it is easily the longest of the group. All output numbers are relative for my home-made Integrating Sphere. It is set up with an Extech SDL400 Lux Meter for measurements including a Kenko PRO1D ND-16 filter. The base measurement is done with a Convoy S2+ that has been tested at 255 lumens and 265 lumens (I now use 2 integrating sphere, so I can do more runtime tests at the same time. And 1 is with an ND filter for high power flashlights, and the other without so it can measure low output. )The build quality is really good. Although you can unscrew the tailcap (nothing is glued) you are not supposed to do that. And even if you unscrew the tailcap, you won’t be able to insert a battery, because that can only be done from the front. The threads are very solid, and screwing the parts together feels really nice.. lol.. If you ever feel how titanium flashlights unscrew, you will love how smooth this one unscrews. The ReyLight Pineapple Mini aluminum is 89mm in length (including the switch button) with a diameter of 15mm and it weighs 33 grams. Yes and No. You can turn this on/off in the hidden programmable settings. 8 half-presses from on brings you to the configuration menu. I know these long runtimes are really boring, but I didn’t even do the lowest output. When I see that moon mode only pulls 0.01A, you can image it takes many many hours to empty a 1900mAh battery. Probably 190 hours..
