Description

I did keep getting the guys confused (especially in the beginning), so I wish they had more frequent descriptions about them. They are there, but not frequent enough that I remember them all šŸ˜… I enjoyed the fact that there was a good Epilogue included. I also just have to say that I enjoyed the authors writing style. I will definitely be looking out for other books by this author in the future.

Okay, first off, this book was bloody adorable!!! Who says a book with a hot shirtless man on the front has to be a horrible, trashy read with poor grammar and no plot? This book is everything that that last book I read wasn't. It was a story with a plot and with purpose, not just a thinly veiled sex infested. It has substance. It's about discovering and building a relationship that will stand the tests of time. This book was what my soul needed. Just a sweet story of two people finding their way to happiness together after over coming self imposed hurdles and an unknown threat. After all, a little suspense and an action scene or two never hurt anyone, right?Of all the guys, heā€™s SO despicably awful. I know heā€™s supposed to be the rough, ā€œcrankyā€ one of the group but Riva is supposed to still LIKE him? After he takes enjoyment digging through her body and TWISTING UP HER VEINS, weā€™re supposed to believe Riva wanting to kill herself magically changed his mind about her? It feels like a scramble to get things moving positive for book 2, and was jarring. I know Riva is going to forgive them and fall into bed with them, thatā€™s just how these stories go, but I donā€™t think any amount of groveling would make up for getting enjoyment out of telepathically twisting up her insides. And I know thereā€™s a short available from his POV during the train scene but I canā€™t describe how much I donā€™t want or care about that. The 180 spin on his attitude is grating. The book was well paced; there was enough there for me to become emotionally invested in Jase and Molly, but not so much that I became frustrated by the amount of time it took for things to progress or that the warm fuzzies I get from Romance novels were outweighed by the discomfort of anxiety and/or annoyance. Declan Hardy, All-American heartthrob and retired NFL billionaire, is my complete Between Commitment and Betrayal, An Arranged Marriage Romance, is live. Molly is a really good main character and has a good cast of people who love and support her. Included in that group is her BFF's, Sierra & Poppy. There is also some good men in her group of friends that both Molly and Jase share. Men who were fellow military brothers who share a really tight bond.

She fights for love one word a time. Those happily ever afters can be difficult to get to sometimes! Also I canā€™t help but think about how she truly threw herself in front of a train, when she found out what their true motives were in the end. I know that she did it to stop herself from killing them ( which like I mean she wouldnā€™t be wrong to do that), but I wish she had just gotten away from them. Maybe have gotten captured, and then they could lament that fact that it was their actions that drove her to it. However, no, my girl said go big or go home and ran right into a train. Isekai (manwha/manga reference) this girl stat so she can get in a story with way nicer men. Iā€™m being extra harsh not all of the men were as terrible as Jacob. But I definitely need to see groveling next book, I donā€™t think I can continue reading if Riva immediately forgives them. Nah I need her to damn near move on from them before she forgive them. Thatā€™s whatā€™s driving me to read the next book. This was an easy read and the action was non-stop Iā€™m intrigued to discover where this is going to go next especially with Riva revealing her new talent so unexpectedly.Note: Our suggestions on which are easiest to complete will be marked by an asterisk* for when you do not have to complete all of them. Chapter 1 It does not matter that she may have to sleep with the man a lot to get him to loosen up. Soon enough the brash and overly practical billionaire realizes that he can also be thoughtful and caring and before long he is the one spoiling her.

I thought the characters were all very complex and I was super impressed with the way each character had a level of depth, even though there were 5 main characters to examine. Typically, a few characters remain flat in these situations, but that didnā€™t feel like the case here. The mmcs believe that she went against them, so when - years later - she is finally able to help break them outā€¦ they all hate her! (Cue angst ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„) The majority of the book is just this sweet dual perspective from two people who are on different levels of attraction for each other in the beginning, but slowly working their way to a mutual level of attraction and absolutely adorable love. Adorable, I say!!! The author cleverly throws in a few other perspectives from people close to the pair to give a bit more of a complete picture (and I daresay, a hook for the next book?). They have formed a strong friendship and have beaten tougher odds before. But neither of them can forget that kiss as they barrel toward either disaster or love. The way Rivaā€™s feelings about the guys are written is SO GOOD!! I could physically feel the pain of rejection that she was feeling. Like the way it was described and her feeling like a burden to them, I felt it too and it hurt. (In a good writing kind of way lol)Also there is supposed to be chemistry between de guys and the fmc but i canĀ“t find it anywhere. Not even the slightest bit of tension. They also bounce around the map. One day they are here the next day they are on the move.

The Season Journey will help you through the game and reward you along the way. Each objective completed gives Favor to progress the Battle Pass. Get out there and slay some demons! Book Genre: Adult, Adult Fiction, Contemporary, Contemporary Romance, Crime, Dark, Mystery, RomanceRewards: Fourth Journey Cache (contains some Malignant Hearts, Forgotten Souls, and jewelry), Limitless Rage Aspect (Barbarian), Metamorphic Stone Aspect (Druid), Rathmaā€™s Chosen Aspect (Necromancer), Synergy Aspect (Rogue), and Frostblitz Aspect (Sorcerer). This was told from multiple POVs but this first book was for the majority of Riva and her thoughts with just cameos from the boys. I would like to get to know them much better as I did think some individuals here shone brighter than others. Overall though Iā€™m invested in whatā€™s to come and this series has definitely captured my imagination. He never intended to fall in love with her but he just could not help himself. But she has built up walls around herself to shut him out even though he believes their souls are welded together. Shattered Vow gave me romantic and angsty X-Men vibes, except that instead of going to a school for gifted youngsters, these kids were born and raised in a creepy military facility and forced to undergo rigorous, brutal training aimed to turn them into weapons. Growing up, the six kidsā€”Riva and her guysā€”form a very tight bond and dream of escape, but once they try, things go horribly wrong. Riva is separated from the group, and four years later, when sheā€™s finally able to escape and save the guys, they believe her to be a traitor.
