now i did not see what she did in her past coming and all but her breaking into josh’s house was kinda messed up if you’re asking me.. BUT she did it for a reason am i right? she was just scared and did what she had to do but her telling josh would’ve been better. The last thing she needs is to get involved with a doctor who puts the SUFFER in insufferable…no matter how good-looking he is. Josh’s questionable actions are not good, but they make sense given his history of trust issues and betrayal.

while I thought the first third of the book was pretty boring, I liked the rest of it much better when Jules and Josh opened up a little and they had some very cute scenes together. My fav one is when Jules mother died and she flew home, at the same time Josh had a trip planned to New Zealand, but he didn’t go and instead changed his flight to be there for Jules and surprised her in Ohio. My heart melted reading that scene! 🥺 I didn’t like how Josh reacted when he found out how Jules deceived him, but I loved how Josh beat up Jules ex, the guy who pushed her down the stairs, not that one thing balance out the other, but it got me some satisfaction lol. We got caught in this cycle of insulting and hating each other, and I didn't know how to break it.” — and before their awfully amazing sex, they didn't know why! And they always insulted each other because it was like muscle memory! 😂 Though I must say the banter was hilarious and my favorite! 🤭 I absolutely adored the bookstore date, where Josh meticulously planned a scavenger hunt and formally asked Jules out. This kind of old-fashioned romance is a rarity these days, I personally find this super romantic.
