I understand that I'll make the best decision by just trying everything out, but none of the stores in my area carry these multi effects units :( new amp simulators that precisely emulate the sonic characteristics of the tubes, transistors, and circuitry used in classic amps, plus 8 cabinet simulators that add the tonality of well-known speakercabinets My understanding is the DSP modeling tech on the G6 is identical to the G11 (in terms of sound quality, not necessarily "number of effects in a single patch"). For those of you who have tried both the G3n/G5n and the G11, is the amp modeling performance very much improved? The models in the G3n are acceptable, but if I'm buying something in the 400-500 dollar range, I'd certainly expect a significant improvement in that area. Being able to bring in your own IRs in the G6 will no-doubt bring with it some improved sound overall, but I'd love to hear your thoughts

Effects include classy modulations alongside plenty of delays and reverbs, and the treadle (or an added expression pedal) gives you access to wah, plus a few other effects that benefit from foot control, although we’ve heardbetter pitch shifting. Options are greatly increased by the 130 slots for loading quality third party IRs and by the two mono (or one stereo) FX loops, which can be placed anywhere in the signal chain putting external pedals under G11 footswitch control. Overall, there’s great ease of useand a bunch of very playable sounds for many styles and, as always, Zoom have included rhythm patterns – great for somesilent practice through headphones – while a built-in 4x4USB interface takes care of your recording needs, making theG11 an all-round practical assetat home or at gigs. Specs You should get an instant answer on whether your application has been successful, though in some rare cases Klarna or V12 may need to look at the application in more detail. EDIT: I should mention that I mainly use the mid-high gain models, so like the XtasyBlue, Recti ORG, DZ DRV, and the Krampus.Alongside their innovatory distortion counterparts are a range of radical, new modulation effects. 'Geronimo' replicates your signal three times and adds subtle sonic differences to each to deliver a modern, pioneering chorus effect. 'PolyShift' is a new take on pitch-shifting, subtle sound variances are imparted at various points along a two-octave range to create a contemporary-sounding effect. Finally, 'SwellVibe' is a naturally dynamic effect that intuitively responds to your playing; instead of the effect being applied from the start, the vibrato begins only after the note is sounded for a more organic, authentic effect. Extensive connectivity A full-fledged modelling amp, the Zoom G11 boasts various original guitar amplifier sounds designed to capture the essence of some true classics. Attain '80s-style British high-gain sizzle with the 'Krampus' setting, a Fender-like early'60s tonewith 'Redloom' or '7 Heaven' for use with extended range baritone, 7-string and 8-string guitars. There are many more too! Impulse Response Technology

However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers. onboard high-quality digital effects, including distortion, overdrive, EQ, compression, delay, reverb, flanging, phasing, andchorusing Onboard chromatic tuner with dedicated footswitch supports all standard guitar tunings, including open and droptunings Integrated pedal board with dedicated amp modeling panel, five stomp switches and expression/volume Control For more than 30 years, Zoom has been developing multi-effects for guitarists. The G11 is the perfect combination of engineering and passion. The “ZOOM Original” amp models offer a completely new range of tonal possibilities and the G11 also has a real amp panel to match. In addition, the G11 has 22 loudspeaker emulations and 70 impulse responses, which were recorded with different microphones in different positions. There are also 130 memory locations for uploading your own IR’s.

For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs.
