There's absolutely wrong with it for me and I wear it happily, however there is nothing that makes it stand out above my personal favourites in the line (Rebel & Beyond), so I don't think of it as something that you must try ASAP. By 1902, the multi-level marketing company already had 10,000 sales representatives, creating careers for women at a time when most women were supposed to be mere housewives. Today that number has gone up to 6.4 million representatives worldwide.

Far Away Beyond and Imari Elixir are so close that they could be shared as a "signature fragrance" - and shifted with your moods. They are both in the same exact chord range only with slightly different notes. This goes on super strong - yes, like my favorite 1980's fragrance creations and other niche' creations. Gorgeous fragrance, smells nothing like the original Far Away however, I suppose it is vaguely reminiscent of Infinity and Gold. To me it's very masculine and smells almost identical to Givenchy Gentleman EDP without the typical "male aftershave" dry down. This is like the female counterpart, very warm, mature but not too mature, cosy like a good hug and not cheap smelling at all. This could easily be a unisex fragrance, anyone who enjoys the top notes of Givenchy Gentleman EDP before the dry down should consider this fragrance. It lasted a long time for me, over 8 hours and I did not notice any change in the fragrance throughout, on clothes it will last over 12 hours easily. I prefer the old style soft round bottles over these new round bottles with sharp angular edges. This has notes that I remember from the Imari Elixir perfume - only these are more polished, like they have taken off any roughness and have polished this into a more refined presentation of the same berries within the Imari Elixir perfume.

The story of Avon starts with an ambitious visionary who was a door-to-door book salesman. Tired of selling books, David H. McConnell saw a better opportunity in selling perfumes and beauty products. The longevity & aura for Far Away Glamour is impressive for the price [like everything else in the Far Away line that I've tried]; it wears for a complete working day (eight to nine hours) and carries about a foot for several of those hours. The closest thing that I can think of would be the original Bronze Goddess by Estee Lauder... but really, I like this much better. Avon's Far Away Royale does not have the suntan lotion vibe that Bronze Goddess has. (It is more elegant than a casual perfume that hints at sun tan lotion). The dry down of this more closely resembles Versace's Crystal Noir...with slight hints of a vanilla - balmy coconut. Finally, Avon makes fragrances for every taste, pleasure and budget. And, age is no barrier too. There is a scent in their base, whether you are a teenager, a 30-year-old, or a more mature man or woman. Avon follows current trends, and although they know to discontinue a popular scent, they always come up with an even better replacement. Their perfumes are diverse, good quality, and you can find one for each season, and any occasion. The longevity & aura for Far Away Royale is impressive for the price - it wears for a complete working day (eight to nine hours) and carries about a foot for several of those hours. In fact, this fragrance opens bringing a lot of not-so-distant olfactory memories, but I won't try to remember which ones they are specifically, it doesn't make sense... I just know that right after opening it radiates a very lush, dewy bouquet of flowers with an incredible fruity sweetness, bringing a dense tonality, as if it were a heavenly nectar, purely living and natural addictive. Anyone who enjoyed Givenchy Gentlemen EDP, Far Away Gold and Far Away Infinity will probably like this one also.

This has a similar start to the depth of Avon's Royale perfume (Avon's Royale goes on just a bit stronger). avon_uk MUA Tom Fraser spills his new skincare secret 🙊 SPOILER ALERT: it’s Renewal Power Serum 🚨 #skincaretips #retinolalternative #protinol #skincareserum #affordableskincare #switchandsave #costofliving ♬ original sound - AvonUkOfficialDavid H.McConnel founded the House of Avon in 1886. Using multilevel marketing, Avon’s house became famous for its perfumes, cosmetic products, clothes, accessories, jewelry, and handbags. There is a pinch of patchouli and a dark woody note in the base, intertwined with the vanilla. A mildly smoky & spicy effect, with the cocooning warmth of a not-too-sweet creamy vanilla. I don't get why this was released in summer in the UK - as another reviewer has said, it's more of a autumn/winter type fragrance. Avon's Far Away Royale could be worn in a number of settings. This is sweet, alluring, playful, fun - and could be worn day or evening. I feel that this leans more feminine, but the initial chord of this is strong enough where this could possibly be masculine. The dry down leans more feminine. If I were not smelling them side by side - I may confuse one perfume with the other; they are THAT SIMILAR... however, there is a subtlety of expression between one and the other. After about 4 hours of time, the fragrance becomes pungent, with dirty lines, but at the same time tender, due to the orange blossoms which, when in excess, easily manage to refer to this indole sensation, but nothing that cannot be tolerated. Right here, the engagement between Vanilla (rustic) and Musk is noticeable; something sublime unfolds here.

A dream here! I'm trying to compose myself to continue writing [...] Directly from AVON Portugal to the whole world, and our dear Brazil! Simply the continuity of a beautiful find within designer perfumery, which leaves nothing to be desired compared to exclusive and/or niche perfumeries. As for the notes, the initial citrus crispiness comes from yuzu and pomegranate, which give that spa-like freshness once you spray it on. This smell later transitions into a more prominent aroma of the Lily of the Valley, and calms down in a subtle blend of musk, sandalwood and vanilla blend. To sum up, Haiku is one of those “safe” scents we all want, but it’s far from being dull.I like this direction. This is unique -- I don't think that I have smelled something quite like this. I'm sampling this with a tester that just arrived in the mail. Upon first spraying this, this begins with a note which is almost like a fine liquor...this smells warm -- like the notes in an after dinner brandy with hints of toasted coconut shavings. This reminds me of some decadent desserts that I have had while vacationing in tropical places like Hawaii or the Bahamas. This first liquor/coconut smell - resembles a brandy liquor drizzle glazed over the top of coconut/vanilla ice cream. There is a richness to this fragrance which definitely reminds me of more niche' fragrances. The general vibe of this is a warm balmy type smell with some inviting coconut/salty Play-Doh notes make this more playful and like you are enjoying a vacation. There is a hint of sea salt in the air. There is a refreshing quality to this fragrance chord almost as if there is a slight hint of peppermint in the mix towards the final phase of the dry down. There are elements to this that make this smell almost like aromatherapy. I can see this having a therapeutic effect on whoever wears this and smells this. When I first tested Far Away Beyond, it reminded me so much of Imari Elixir - but Beyond smells like it leans more in the direction of a creamy rich and well blended Chocolate... there is a refinement here that makes both of these perfumes smell niche' and boutique. Haiku is another timeless classic in Avon’s 2001 collection. Inspired by fully bloomed Japanese gardens, Haiku sets an entirely different tone than its previous competitors higher on the list.
