The other was a continuity issue. In the last book, Livvie was pregnant with twins. This book, it’s only one baby. I was looking for her twins. This is a delightful novel as Sammy adjusts to the fact that she has a fated mate, which she is not exactly happy about. Several of my favorite quotes from the book as she contemplates this fact are:

S2CID 84153330. Though its not labeled as such, this is definitely a book for teens/young adults. The writing is extremely simple, like perhaps it was written by a teenager. This book is full of secrets that twist and turn this story, and keeps you wondering what’s coming next.

I liked both of these characters. Livvie took to the dragons rather easy. Her own circumstances were a bit more difficult for her to accept. But she gets there eventually.The blue glaucus, which is also called the blue dragon, sea swallow, or blue angel, is a brightly colored nudibranch, commonly known as sea slugs. Found throughout the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans in tropical and subtropical waters, the blue glaucus grows up to 1.2 inches (3 cm) long. These tiny sea slugs spend most of their lives floating upside-down at the surface, staying afloat by storing air bubbles in their stomach. This story takes place in Bluewater, a small town in the USA. The residents this that the people who live in houses, that are all in the same area by the cliffs overlooking the ocean are part of a cult, but as they seem okay, not strange and interact with the townsfolk with not problems they just let them be. The second story is Bri and Jace's and how they come to be together, and the third Kaye and her fated who is Jace's half brother that he didn't know he had.
