About this deal

I fell in love with Chandler and Finn and the honest conversations they have about female pleasure, desire and mental health. Their first night together was less than stellar for Chandler and she offers to give Finn sex lessons when he discovers his past partners were left dissatisfied in the bedroom department too.

The fun, flirty and steamy new romcom from Rachel Lynn Solomon, author of The Ex Talk and Weather Girl ! This was my first adult romance by Rachel and second book by her read, but it sure won’t be my last. All in all, Business or Pleasure is a refreshing and new rom-com that I’m hoping will win the hearts of many people. When Finn approaches her with a second arrangement that’s a bit more unorthodox, she decides to go for it with some hilarious and spicy repercussions. Only Rachel Lynn Solomon could make a story about giving sex lessons to a celebrity feel this grounded and realistic. Chandler and Finn are equal parts smart and funny, charming and generous, thoughtful and endearing. Rachel takes the kind of risks that make romance as a genre so special and rewarding to read.” —Rosie Danan, author of The Roommate

A: Finn’s career is in Hollywood, and even though he’s not an A-lister, he feels stable and mostly content. I’d consider Hollywood a secondary character because it’s something nearly every reader can conceptualize, and it does impact the plot. While Finn has plenty in common with his sweetly nerdy TV alter-ego, Oliver Huxley feels very static to me — he’s incapable of the same kind of growth as Finn.

She’s also adrift after being let down by her friend/crush and is constantly worrying about her older parents. Chandler finally accepts the offer that will give her opportunity to travel to Oregon, moving away from her trapped life, giving her enough time what she has to do with her life. See, the thing is: I don’t hate sex scenes. I mean I do but I also don’t. Would I prefer my sex scenes with less ”I’m thinking about how pink your pretty pussy is right now. Pinker than your cheeks?” ?- definitely.

I can only think of a few romance books where it’s the male lead who needs the instructional help in the bedroom so this book became one of my most anticipated romance books of 2023. When she admits to Finn, their one night stand was total disaster, Finn makes her interesting offer. He needs to learn art of seduction not to make the same mistakes in the bed. And Chandler accepts which means she crosses the thin line between business and pleasure! Things are about to get saucier! Enjoy their blooming, sexist romance!none of it is discussed satisfyingly or fully, or even in a very fun or interesting or non-"what is happening what are we doing here" way. A tender, hilarious, and heartfelt love story you'll read in one sitting!' Tessa Bailey, New York Times bestselling author of IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER

Rachel Lynn Solomon has a gift for looking directly into my soul and somehow giving me exactly the book I needed. Business or Pleasure is a perfect encapsulation of everything I love about Solomon's writing: depth, vulnerability, and thoughtfulness, topped off with laugh-out-loud banter and smoking hot (and in this case, hard-won) chemistry Ava Wilder, author of How to Fake it in Hollywood I have no idea what i'm doing!" A guy biking past us holds up a fist. "None of us do, bro" he says, and Finn gives him a halfhearted fist pump. Honestly before I typed out the spoilies I was gonna toss this a generous three but eff that. A two it is. Annoying ass book. LOL.

The fact that Rachel Lynn Solomon convinced me that Finn was not only a hero redeemed, but a hero GIFTED SEXUALLY was quite honestly Hercules’s thirteenth labor. I simply did not expect to be absolutely obsessed with the same man that didn’t know where to locate the clitoris 😭 Only Rachel Lynn Solomon could make a story about giving sex lessons to a celebrity feel this grounded and realistic. Chandler and Finn are equal parts smart and funny, charming and generous, thoughtful and endearing. Rachel takes the kind of risks that make romance as a genre so special and rewarding to read." - Rosie Danan A delightful romance. Perfect for rainy days and sunny days and everything in between Helen Hoang, New York Times bestselling author of The Heart Principle There is a fine line between “this sex scene makes me want to kill myself” and “this is actually a nice and intimate moment between characters that I love” and I think that line for me is way thinner than for most people – and also popular romance seems to cross it a lot. Rachel Lynn Solomon is an auto-buy author for me, and Business or Pleasure might be her best yet! Chandler and Finn's story is so vulnerable and hot, and the way Solomon weaves serious, important topics throughout a warm and engaging romance is truly masterful. I already can't wait to read this book again and again." - Alicia Thompson
