The charismatic children’s author and former Britain’s Got Talent judge, David Walliams, left a lasting impression on young readers during his book tour stop at Lincoln Waterstones on Friday the October 13th. Fans eagerly gathered at the bookstore to meet the acclaimed writer, celebrated for his enchanting works such as “The Boy in the Dress” and “Gangsta Granny,” to get their hands on his latest release, “The Blunders”. Walliams said Pinocchio was one of his favourite stories growing up, and that he wanted to create his own version with a robot police dog who yearned to be a real dog. “It is a comedy adventure story with a group of supervillains, but I hope my readers will find a positive message in there about being whoever you want to be,” he said.
