About this deal

The usual runtime in the medium mode is around 8 hours and 30 minutes, and the luminous intensity is around 3000 candela. Low Mode Fenix produces almost all of its flashlights adhering to series types like popular vehicle brands. But it’s safe to say they tend to make traditional UI-based flashlights that are familiar to most people.

The high mode outputs 600 lumens and runs for around 2 hours and 35 minutes. The throw distance is 216 meters, and the luminous intensity is around 11700 candela. Medium Mode According to the ANSI / PLATO FL1 standard, the battery life refers to the time from 30 seconds after the flashlight switch is turned on until the light output reaches 10% of the initial value. The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used on High or Turbo modes for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 60°C or above, the light will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C, it will then allow the user the reselection of High or Turbo modes. The battery level indicator is located on the functional side switch. It will light up for 3 seconds whenever you turn on the flashlight so you can gauge the status of the battery. Battery level indicator on the functional side switch. Also, weight management is perfect. Without the battery, it weighs as low as 83.5 grams, making it a perfect choice for long time usage.Electronic products are better when they come with a warranty. But some flashlight companies only provide you with months or no more than two years of warranties. Turbo Mode runtime has increased from 1h 15m at 850 lumens for the original PD35 to an impressive 2h 50m at 1,000 lumens for the PD35 V2.0. In the new 3 lumen Eco mode, the PD35 V2.0 can deliver continuous light for up to 18 days on a single battery: that’s insane!

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Eco output is reached. When this happens in Eco output, the battery level indicator blinks red 3 times every 10 minutes to remind you to recharge or replace the battery. When UK Fenix distributor MyFenix sent in the PD35 V2.0 for review, I was keen to see how Fenix had improved what was already a remarkable torch. There’s always a real danger with an upgrade like this that designers strive so much to be different that they lose what made the original product so great. The result can be an upgrade that’s more of a downgrade. A: PD35 V3.0 can't be directly charged, while the included 18650 battery features a micro USB charging port: the anode side displays red when charging and turns blue when charging is completed. The charging time is 3.5 hours.

The tail switch, which is used to turn the flashlight on and off, is rubberized and has the same quality feel as the more expensive models. The tail (tactical) switch. In turbo, aka Tactical mode, it provides the highest 1700 lumens, and the typical runtime is 1 hour and 25 minutes. A: The runtime of the Turbo mode is 2 hours and 15 minutes. The light will rapidly accumulate a lot of heat when used on 1700 lumens / Turbo mode. When the light reaches a temperature of a certain level, the light will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. So the runtime of Turbo mode is measured in a total of runtime including output at reduced levels due to temperature or protection mechanism in the design. The stated data are from the results produced by Fenix through its laboratory testing under the temperature of 21±3°C according to the ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard. (For specific runtime performance, refer to the runtime graph in the manual)
