There’s a small Milkybar Easter egg in this post that’s gluten-free. However, other Milkybar eggs in other sizes are NOT gluten-free.

Like Cadbury, the chocolate egg is a little on the smaller side and looks like the standard milk chocolate egg that you got as a kid. Unlike Cadbury, though, I found that Nestle's chocolate egg broke apart better and was therefore a lot easier to enjoy. The Belgian chocolate was good quality, smooth and the added salted caramel pieces are the absolute star of the show. It makes me realise why many people rave about the budget supermarket's own-brand products. This egg was easily one of the best eggs hands down, with a special shoutout for the dark chocolate and sour cherry layer. While our aforementioned child enjoyed every mouthful she stole, we found the white chocolate cloyingly sweet with a grainy mouthful.There’s an Aero Peppermint Egg in this post that’s gluten-free. The Mini Ombles are a more bitesize version of the original, though the chocolate doesn’t taste quite as high quality. Made with cocoa butter and rice powder, this egg is soft in texture, but has a unique taste that some may love and some may dislike. The chocolate itself is quite thin and has a good snap to it, and the dusting of gold lustre on the outside of the egg is a nice touch. On the one hand, the chocolate egg was a decent size – albeit a little smaller than Lidl's – and the chocolate was as rich and smooth as I remember. If you have a dark chocolate lover in your life, this is bound to go down well with them. The dark chocolate shell is crisp and not too bitter, and is laced with pieces of honeycomb throughout. As for the taste, I was reminded why I love Nestle. It was smooth and had a bit more of a distinctive flavour than Cadbury.
