Speaking of friends, several Shanghai friends from the first book make an appearance in this book. This was great and unexpected in a lot of ways. Ana has managed to blend genuine characters and Hollywood drama together in a way that seems like this could happen to anyone, anywhere. It seems real yet slightly hyperbole at the same time. I guess what I am trying to say that this book is highly entertaining between the characters, drama and the romance! I loved the first two books, and I really enjoyed Kris in those stories. And when Kris and Nate made an appearance in the second book, If The Sun Never Sets, I fell in love with them as a couple. I did not expect that they would have their own story, and what a great story it is.She lied to Blake about the night they "slept together" and it's freaking infuriating. However she had good reason, he dumped her for a girl he barely knows. this is a beautiful story of second ( and third) chances. Farrah and Blake’s love is a reminder that when you let others see the darkness and difficulties of your life, it gives them the ability to love you wholly and unconditionally. The relationship between Nate and Kris was adorable solely because of the banter. I adored the chemistry and steaminess between them. Nate's sassiness and flirtatious dialogue will have you smiling. As the relationship progressed, I loved how Nate and Kris discovered similarities, and the relationship evolved to one of respect and understanding. So i never figured out why they never went that angle with it. they’re different people, shouldn’t they be trying to get to know the new person they are instead of him just being like the second they meet. Farrah’s mom is a wonderful addition to the story. Though she does not have a huge role, her sage advice is exactly the affirmation Farrah needs.

Infamously less icy than neighboring Greenland, Iceland is an isolated island country situated just under the arctic circle's grasp. First settled in the 9th century, the rulership of Iceland passed between Norway and Denmark until finally, Icelanders voted for independence in 1944. While the majority of the 376 thousand citizens live in the capital, Reykjavik, plenty of settlements hug the coast and enjoy the solitude that comes with that. Due to dynamic geologic activity, geysers dot the countryside around volcanos that have erupted as recently as 2021. The mesmerizing cliffs and peninsulas, like Dyrhólaey in the south, grant visitors an understanding of nature's powerful forces. During the summer solstice, there is a tradition involving rolling naked through fields to access healing magic. Losing sleep thanks to the midnight sun might explain some of these beliefs, but if it works, it works! Greenland Nuuk, the capital of Greenland in summer with sunlight shining all day long. So she agreed to his terms—not knowing that doing so would cost her a lot more than money and a kiss...
