With water flowing through the pressure washer, you just slide it around to clean, with a combination of the high-pressure nozzles and bristle brushes cleaning up dirt. There’s a hovercraft effect that makes it easy to slide the T5 around – but be careful not to swing it too fast, since it’s easy to wobble the head and spray water everywhere. I solved this when mine stopped spinning. I unscrewed and tapped out the illustrated part using a wooden mallet. I removed the washers. I observed a dirty wear line. I polished both washers and the brass bushes with a mild polishing compound. I used G4 which is for car paintwork. I am sure bathroom cleaner, jeweler polish or any other mild abrasive would also work. I used 1200 wet and dry, a cloth and an old bit of mdf to rub both washers until the dirty wear was absent. I cleaned all the parts thoroughly, including the washer jets. I remounted it and tightened until the washers span but the centre remained fixed. Spins perfectly. Most pressure washers come with accessories, but it's prudent to explore whether these will offer a benefit to your cleaning needs. If you want to clean your patio then you'll want to ensure it comes with a patio cleaner, and while a rotating car brush can be handy, it's not going to be that useful if you don't plan on using it.
