Clawdeen Wolf is, of course, a werewolf. She has auburn curls, wolverine-shaped eyes, and a small set of fangs, and as a budding fashion designer, she always looks stylish. Knowledge of monsters: Because of her passion for monsters, Clawdeen studies and researches about them everyday. So Clawdeen has a great knowledge about monsters and knows many facts about them. In Monster High, there are said to be "no fewer than ten boys" playing outside the Wolf residence, all heavily implied to be siblings. In chapter 1, it is shown that the Wolf family only has five sons. Clawdeen and Apollo became very close in their relationship, Apollo is the only human in Clawdeen's life who has loved her and accepted her the way she is. After Selena's disappearance, Apollo would act weird whenever Clawdeen mentioned something about monsters, but after Clawdeen revealed her monster side to her father, he revealed to her he knew about Selena being a werewolf, he apologized for not telling her before, as he was afraid to lose her too, and she forgive him. Clawdeen and Apollo have become even closer to each other after this revelation.

Early in the series, she often bursts into tears when she’s faced with a challenge, and she tends to give up without trying if something feels difficult. Melody Carver is a unique member of the Monster High cast, as her character was created exclusively for the books. In " Werewolf Weekend", in one of Clawdeen's records in her iBall, Clawdeen says "So, here is who I think is cute", meaning she might have a crush on someone. As of now, it's currently unknown who it is. Monster Phonics uses the 10 monsters to categorise all sounds into 10 simple areas. Furthermore, each monster has a different colour and that colour also represents the sound. This means children can recognise the monsters and the colour associated with the sound, which helps them spell, read and write.

Animated Series

Draculaura holds the standard abilities and characteristics of a vampire, such as an inability to stand garlic or to have a reflection in the mirror and the need to be invited into places before entering. However, Draculaura does not drink blood due to her vegan nature. Additionally: Information about Mattel specifically relating to Monster High, such as behind-the-scenes with the designers of the series, collaborative partnerships and sales information. Human & Werewolf transformation: Since Clawdeen is half-human, she can transform from a werewolf into a human and vice-versa. Draculaura is Count Dracula’s adoptive daughter, but unlike her father, she wasn’t born a vampire. Her biological parents were both human, but a family tragedy before she was born meant she was raised in Dracula’s castle in Transylvania. It is amazing to see how Frankie matures from being homeschooled and only knowing her parents (her creators) to attending schools, making friends and appreciating the person she is and accepting that it is okay to be what she is.

Publication Order of Monster High Books

In Where There's a Wolf, There's a Way, she is sent out to her grandparents' house, much to her dismay. However, she shows up at Clawdeen's hideout with her father's permission, where she develops a crush on Clawd and even convinces him to let her give him a mohawk. She is present at Clawdeen's party, where she flaunts her RAD status. Howleen is Claudeen’s little sister and the youngest member of the Wolf family to attend Monster High.

Being an older brother is something new to Clawd, as before, he has never looked out for anyone but himself. So during the Growl-o-Games, Clawd has been very overprotective to her, to her annoyance. While they were trapped with the Venus Flytrap Monster, Clawd didn't let Clawdeen do anything and tried to take down the plant on his own but was almost eaten alive until Clawdeen saved him. This made Clawd realize Clawdeen can take care of herself, he apologized to her and confessed he is just scared of losing her, she forgave him, and they worked together to escape the monster plant. This has improved their relationship, as now they look out for each other. The story then switches Frankie Stein, a new student at Merston High, and only aged 15 days only. She is the granddaughter of Frankenstein, and she has to hide what she is and just fit into her new school. This narrative is told from two different points of views; from Frankie’s and Melody. You will love the idea of monster children having descendants, and here you will find creatures such as Medusa, Dracula, and others. The characters are multidimensional, and detailed, this aspect enables the reader to have a depth and detailed understanding of the characters strengths and weaknesses. Considering Dracula is Székely (a Hungarian ethnic group living predominantly in Romania), that means so is Draculaura. Bat-changing: Draculaura is able to change into a bat at will. But this, as revealed in " The Good, the Bat, and the Fabulous", is a power vampires only get when they are old enough. In " Frights, Camera, Action!", it is then stated that a vampire can only gain the power to change into a bat when they do something outrageously of a good deed, such as Gory Fangtell had saved an important vampire lord from a sunburn. Vampire Powers: After finding the rightful vampire ruler Elissabat with her friends, Draculaura acquired her Vampire Powers, and consequently, the ability to turn into a bat at will. Despite this, she still has a lot to learn about such powers as she tends to have little control over them yet.

Secondary pets - The pets of Monster High that are essentially fiction-only and rarely feature in more than one medium. At the Stein’s residence, Frankie’s parents, Viktor and Viveka, have a talk with Frankie. With the summer coming to an end, they will soon have to return to their teaching jobs, meaning Frankie will go to a normie (human) school. They explain that they are part of a community known as Regular Attribute Dodgers (RAD), consisting of what normies call monsters. Though originally living in peace with humans, the 20th century saw an increase in horror movies starring and portraying them as violent, causing humans to mistrust them. The RAD’s wanted to flee to Salem, Massachusetts, to escape the mobs and receive help from the witches, but a mix-up with locations, and centuries, saw the RAD’s arrive in Salem, Oregon. They set down roots and built the Radcliffe Way cul-de-sac to protect themselves. To blend in, they give Frankie some unflattering clothes to hide her bolts and seams and stage makeup to cover her green skin, which Frankie is not pleased with. On the first day of school, she wears her own clothes, which her parents disapprove of, but drive her to her school, Mount Hood High nonetheless. When they arrive, Frankie heads inside, dismissing the unusually empty campus, when a group of cheerleaders accidentally slams the front door in her face. The cheerleaders are initially apologetic before becoming terrified upon seeing Frankie’s green skin, and they call the police. Frankie’s parents get her out in time before the police arrive, reveal that her real school is called Merston High, and they had done this to teach her a lesson. Confidence shaken, Frankie agrees to wear the disguise to school. Upon discovering Monster High, she is thrilled to join it, and is unfazed by the spookiness of Monster High; here, she finally finds a place where she can be herself, despite the challenge of being a half-monster in a school full of pure-blooded monster students. Clawdeen has shown to be very persistent after Bloodgood didn't allow her into the school because she was human, and tried many ways to get enrolled (mostly by disguising herself as a monster), but she would finally reveal her werewolf side, when under the moonlight. After a blood test, Bloodgood discovers that Clawdeen is half-werewolf and allows her to attened Monster High.
