The scent of the conditioner was the same as the Pro-V Repair and Protect Shampoo – a strong strawberry smell in the tube which fades when it is washed out of the hair. It had a creamy consistency which smoothed easily onto the hair. I tend to use quite a lot of conditioner each time I wash my hair (because of the length and the tangles) but most people would find they can use less. My hair remained relatively knot free even after it dried. My hair felt soft overall, even down to the ends (which usually stay dry and brittle). There were fewer visible split ends. I can’t say my hair was shiny (it still looked dull) and I swear that I now have more grey hairs (or maybe I’m just looking more closely!) but I did like the feel of my hair and it looked more tidy and manageable.
