About this deal

Take your aluminium rails and attach them to the non-taped longer sides of the sheet, gently tapping them with the rubber mallet to do so.

Cut the length of the lead to the width needed and lay it on top of the roof canopy, manipulating it so an edge is secured into the groove and fixed with wooden wedges or H-clips. Mark rafter positions onto the matchboard and place the matchboard with the ‘V’ joint facing down. The upper surface should be completely flat. The canopy is glazed with 16mm triple wall UV stabilised polycarbonate sheeting offering greater flexibility in canopy design with enhanced strength and rigidity, available in clear, bronze or opal tints. The eaves beam cleverly double’s as an integral box gutter utilising the support posts as down pipes with the rain water exiting through the variable height post feet. To find out what height to place the canopy, hold the canopy in place and make sure to line it up with the holes and plumb lines.Glass: Standard 28mm Toughened glass 1.4 value or upgrade to 44mm Triple glaze with an excellent u-value of 1.0 - 75% better than a standard Bi-fold. If the wood is not treated, you will need to treat the wood with varnish to ensure it has a lower risk of rot. Nail down tiles every three rows from the bottom row of tiles, finishing with the top row nailed also. Using sleeve anchors, attach the canopy to the wall by hammering them into the wall and using a ratchet to tighten them in place. This will help centralise the canopy.

The HDPE we use to to make our door canopies is 100% recyclable. Our door canopy parts contain a mix pre-consumer/recycled (20%) and virgin material (80%) ensuring high quality whilst lessening our environmental impact. Place the eaves protection boards under the roofing membrane as this will prevent ponding, allowing rainwater to run off into the gutter. Note: Standard 75mm overlap tiles require batten spacings should be 33.5cm and fixed with galvanised nails that penetrate each batten and membrane a minimum of 40mm Manufactured in strong rigid GRP, this overdoor canopy is designed to complement your entrance. Fast easy installation transforms your doorway into an elegant feature with kerb appeal. This canopy is maintenance free, and requires just an occasional wash with warm soapy water to keep its looks.Take a lead beater and follow the profile of the tiles to ensure the lead sits in place and point up the groove with mortar. Created and crafted in Britain, the clean silhouette of the canopy is designed to give you just the right amount of shelter while effortlessly enhancing the look of your entryway. HDPE plastic is the most environmentally stable of all plastics. It's highly durable, requires no maintenance, and is long-lasting - and won't rust like metal or rot like wood! Threshold: This door comes with a standard point; you can upgrade to Low Aluminium Threshold in the options above. Cill options are available.

Please note : The 1.6m relates to the length of the slope, therefore the horizontal projection will vary dependant on the selected roof pitch. The system can be supplied in modular kit format (please see size matrix) as well as bespoke sizes and configurations. Applications include: car ports, covered seating areas, covered play areas, porches, patio canopy, caravan cover, cycle/smoking sheltersNote: The design of your canopy roof will affect attachment options; if you want to attach the canopy to fascias and soffits, ensure you leave some loose membrane at the gutter end for easy access – find out more below here. Note: Battens should run perpendicular to the rafters; the spacing between the battens (aka the gauge) is decided by the type of tile used. In this example, the tile referred to is a standard. Opening Direction: Looking at the door outside the house, do you want it hinged on the left or the right? The two-pane can also be supplied as a French door.

Door canopies can be a superb solution to add value to any home by improving its appearance. Easy to install and maintain, a door canopy is a cost effective and simple way to transform and enhance the entrance to any home. We are able to produce a wide range of door canopy designs which suit any property, regardless of its age or style. Thanks to the uv-stabilised polymer material, our door canopies require no maintenance - simply wipe down with warm soapy water for a fuss-free refresh. Install tiles from the gutter upwards because of overlap. The first tile must overhang the roof by 50mm at the gutter end. This improves water run-off into the drain. Due to it's solid construction, HDPE naturally resists mold, mildew, fungus and bacteria growth, meaning it is an excellent choice for door canopies. HDPE is also highly impact resistant, so you won't have to worry about scratches or dents, and is easy-to-clean too - as the dirt just wipes away. Please note the chosen service as above is a scheduled delivery slot. Our carrier can not provide a timed delivery service.

Before/After - Our door canopies can make a big difference to the look and feel of your home…

From the bottom, where the gutter will lay, fix the first length of underlay using 50mm galvanised nails (this will avoid damage to the membrane). Overlap the following layers by 150mm as this will stop water ingress.
