Rogerson, Ben (November 25, 2008). "Slash to begin work on Solo Album". Musicradar.com. Archived from the original on March 3, 2016 . Retrieved September 7, 2016.

I have to believe the pitch to the Harper Collin publishing house went something like this: Tommy Lee "wrote" two books, I am sober an average of 5% of the time these days, Scott Weiland is a mess again, and Axl is still working on Chinese democracy somehwere . . . so yeah, I want to write a book. What's that, you say you love the idea? Great. Make sure the ghost writer likes to drink. Oh yeah, and about the money . . . . Axl Rose Buys "Guns N' Roses" Name". AddictedToNoise.com. Slash is a book I want to read because I like hearing about people's childhoods and this is an auto-biography of him! Accurate not un-accurate. Marshall AFD100". AFD100.com. Archived from the original on December 28, 2012 . Retrieved April 30, 2011. Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Slash APH-2". SeymourDuncan.com. Archived from the original on January 14, 2010 . Retrieved April 30, 2011. Axl and I talked... and that was something that came totally out of the blue, totally unexpected Slash

This book covers some of Slash's early life, which doesn't seem to have been particularly awful, contrary to what you might expect. Slash seems to be a pretty intelligent and well adjusted bloke who is also not really very outgoing. The hat, shades and curls are a form of mask - without them he is hard to recognise. He even describes the specific moment when he adopted the 'look'. Loinaz, Alexis L. (December 31, 2014). "Slash Files for Divorce from Perla Hudson". People. Archived from the original on December 31, 2014 . Retrieved January 1, 2015.

Why Does Slash Always Wear a Top Hat?". CBS News. June 9, 2010. Archived from the original on September 6, 2018 . Retrieved September 13, 2018. Rogerson, Ben (November 25, 2008). "Slash solo album to feature Ozzy Osbourne… and Fergie". MusicRadar.com. Archived from the original on September 28, 2012 . Retrieved April 27, 2011.

The book followed a diary method in writing. The chapters were arranged by dates and every chapter was divided into subtitles, and so I found full details about every part as his birth, childhood, parents, financial cases, hobbiesand more, as well as explaining his character through the different stages of life. So I think we’re going to go well on into the future. I mean, Axl’s got a ton of shit that he recorded already, so we’re just going to get in there and just start getting into that thing, and then if we do a record and then do a tour, I could see that cycle going on endlessly.” Your PIN is the first 2 digits and the last 2 digits of your date of birth. So, if you were born on 3 February 1970, your PIN would be 0370. You may change your PIN once you are logged into 'My Account' by choosing 'change PIN'. eBooks

The problem is that you could be falsely accused of something, but it almost doesn’t matter – it’s out there. Even if you were to get your name cleared, the damage is already done. And that’s pretty sad. Distefano, Alex (August 27, 2010). "Sunset Strip Festival: West Hollywood Declares August 26, 'SLASH DAY' ". LA Weekly. Archived from the original on June 4, 2011 . Retrieved June 14, 2011. So you’ve just got to do what you do best, put your utmost integrity into it, make an effort and try and do it for yourself. That’s really where it comes down to: you’re doing all this for yourself, to satisfy some inner yearning to do something that you want to hear, or just to be whatever it is that you want to be, you know? But to think that you’re important enough to try and influence the entire industry is sort of a stretch.” The book was written by Slash with Anthony Bazza in the United States. It was published in 2007 through HarperCollins Entertainment (UK) and Harper Entertainment (USA).

Various books by G’n’R band members riled Rose enough for him to make a public statement in 2013 to define his side of the split. “As I’ve said before, I shouldn’t have been on tour when we started in 1991,” he explained. “That had a lot to do with Alan Niven, our then manager, and Slash. In my opinion Alan wanted money and Slash wanted the touring to get the better of me given my circumstances at the time. My safety and well-being were not their concern.”

Besides being a junkie and cocaine addict (not even mentioning the groupies...) he was such a severe alcoholic that he drank around four liters of vodka every day (not counting in the beer and whiskey he did at night). I'm surprised and glad he's still alive after all this excessive debauchery. With Guns, you have no idea where that’s going to go either, so it’s really sort of hard to focus on one or the other. But I feel like while I’m out with Guns I’m thinking about Guns stuff. When I’m out with Conspirators I’m thinking of Conspirators. I’ve been doing The Conspirators for, like, eight years now. So there’s a certain kind of rhythm that I’ve gotten into with doing that. “With Guns, we haven’t sort of… we’ve just started to touch the surface of what that’s going to all be, so I haven’t really fallen into that groove yet. So right now there’s more of a question mark around that than with Conspirators.” McLean, Craig (June 15, 2010). "Slash Interview". The Daily Telegraph. Archived from the original on February 25, 2015 . Retrieved January 1, 2015. Slash dressed up as a woman after the bouncer didn't let him enter a bar. He couldn't find his buddy Steven Adler after he got admitted no problem (his mom who is a costume designer helped him get ready, he still lived with her at that point) and was so disturbed by all the cat calls and laughs around him that he fled the scene and concluded that "it must be really tough being a woman". a b "Ola Oliver-Hudson Obituary".
