I won't go into more detail but if this is your first book by Amelia Hutchins, I would strongly advise you to go read some of her other series before diving in here, because this one is not for the faint of heart!.

Sadly, my feeble expressions falter in capturing the profound sentiments evoked within me by this book. Aderyn, a mystical entity, bears a tragic burden that relentlessly torments her existence. Cursed to endure a perpetual cycle of rebirth, she is condemned to forget her past and remain oblivious to her doomed state. However, her past holds immense significance within the tapestry of her tale. Entwined within her life is Khaos, also known as the devil and incubus king, who plays a profound role in her tumultuous journey. He possesses knowledge of the curse that haunts her, compelling him to embark on a mission to rescue her. Regrettably, he often fails to reach her in time before she suffers the agonizing destiny that awaits her. With each touch and word, he pulls my heart closer to himself and at the same time he is trying to keep me at arm’s length. The dance he and I have begun, is getting more complicated as our worlds are being shaken from all sides, and the visions of the future are frightening, and nothing like I had ever pictured for myself or those I care for. Now, I intended to topple his entire empire of sin down on his seductive, narcissistic head. Soon, he’ll understand why queens are a power piece on the chessboard. I’m about to remind him just how much damage an angry, vindictive woman can do. Three hundred years ago, I screwed up. I walked into the Sinner’s Den and set it on fire. In doing so, I’d crossed the Devil of London. And the devil does not forgive easily. Worse than that? He always comes to collect his debts. So, when Khaos Nasir appeared at my house, I thought he’d demand my life. Instead, he demanded my soul for eternity.Chapter one definitely took it from 0 to hundred, but you have to be patient when reading this book. It definitely got me hooked by the first chapter. This book broke me. I haven't cried so hard since Crown of Chaos. Amelia never writes an easy story. We have to endure the worst lows to build toward incredible highs, that is totally worth it in the end. Nasir laughed coldly as he rose, then aimed a merciless gaze toward where I stood with tears streaming down my cheeks. The state of my mental facilities is irrelevant, he mused as he fingered the lace bodice of my gown. Such a pretty gown you wore to betray me. Then he ripped it wide open. It forced me to shield my naked breasts from the men who remained stoic. Merikh watched me with regret in his eyes as he pushed a sword into the fire burning beside the pews.

If you do this, you might as well kill me too, I whispered so softly I wasn’t certain Nasir heard me.PDF / EPUB File Name: The_Devil_of_London_-_Amelia_Hutchins.pdf, The_Devil_of_London_-_Amelia_Hutchins.epub The MMC, Khaos Nasir (yes, that is actually his name), also known as The Devil (of course), urges me to start a petition to give love interest's normal names again, because I can't do this anymore. He was, naturally, darkness incarnate, nightmares, trembling ankles, and whatnot.

I can feel the concept of this book and I think there might be quite the interesting story beneath al the sex and violence. Unfortunately, the storytelling is not good enough to actually tell us that concept and I felt like it never came to fruition. This book was a whole ass rollercoaster ride through hell. Don’t even understand what this was about? The whole plot was so confusing and beyond chaotic. Also the dialogue was cringy and repetitive at times. Certain words like 'slut' 'love' and 'pussy’ were repeated at least 200 times. I felt like there is no character development and even though I read the whole book I still have little idea what these people are all about, but even after finishing I have to clue. Loads of dramatic shit happens, but in the end I just didn't care at all. First things first, like the rest of Amelia’s works this book has lots of potentially triggering stuff so please make sure to read the content warning at the beginning! Cause I mean, it is called the Red Flag series for a reason!I am not yours! I’d never admit to being his property to him or anyone else. I’d fight him until my last breath to keep from admitting it out loud. Blood covered my wedding gown, staining it crimson, while the heavy, sharp scent of blood filled the air inside the church. There was something soft and squishy in the crease of my breasts—brain matter, most likely. A violent tremor rushed through me as the muffled screams crammed the church. It sounded as if my head were beneath water, or they were farther away than they really were. Movement in front of me forced my eyes to the devil himself, who was watching through the shattered windowpane of the house of worship’s many windows. Adam and I are both going through identity crises of epic proportions as we Transition from who we were, and discover who we were meant to be. More Fae are dying, and I feel as if time is running out for us to find all of those responsible and put an end to the killings. When Maxwell had gotten down on his knee and asked me to marry him, I’d warned him this might be the outcome, but he’d refused to heed the warning. The stupid boy had been so sweet that he’d made it impossible to decline his offer. And now he’d die because of it. It was unfair. The devil cursed me to be his plaything, so love was not something I could obtain. I warned you there would be consequences if you persisted in disobeying me, Nasir growled against my ear before his hands slid to my wrist, twisting it painfully as he spun me around to face him. Now, you’ll reap what you’ve sewn, love.
