His 1967 film on Che Guevara, End of a Revolution, shown by Granada’s World in Action series, refuted the official version that Guevara had died in a gunbattle. Brian’s version, that Guevara was captured alive and then killed, was based on a tipoff from a member of the American special forces who were present in the jungle region where Guevara and his guerrillas were trying to start a peasant revolution. The film, made by Brian with the help of his wife Caroline, turned them into objects of suspicion for the CIA. But when the US caught wind of the plot, de Changy suggests the rival superpower came up with a plan to intercept the cargo, and to force MH370 to land, confiscate the cargo, and send it on its way to Beijing with just a two-hour delay. This remake was poorly received and universally seen as inferior to the original, with particular criticism for its new happy ending. [3] Variety called it "schematic and unconvincing", [4] and Time Out 's Nigel Floyd called it "a misjudged, lobotomized Hollywood remake." [5] Mark Kermode summarized: "the original was about the banality of evil, but the remake became about the evil of banality. It was a mess." [6] The Washington Post called it "a case study in how Hollywood can make a complete mess out of what was previously a marvelous film." [7] Roger Ebert wrote "the movie methodically rewrote all that was good in the earlier version, turning its cold logic into trashy commercialism. The first movie was existential in its merciless unfolding. This one turns into a slasher movie with a cheap joke at the end. [8] Desson Howe called the film "an inept, quasi-formulaic rehash of everything." [9] Lastly, de Changy met with some of the families and friends of the crew members and passengers who boarded the MH370 and based on those conversations, she divulges some personal information about those 239 passengers - information like why were they travelling on that day, what were their temperaments, who was waiting for them on the other side of the journey, and so on. This information helped in establishing an instant connection with those ill-fated people, making the reader more invested in the writer’s cause. Not to forget, it also made me very emotional. The gold bars bring two more men to the island (Soren Malling and Olafur Darri Olafsson), who are seeking the man who had been killed. In this movie adaptation there are periods of vagueness of the story and this is one of them. There is no clarification of where the gold is from, why was their mate washed up in a crevice with the gold. The viewer is left to formulate their own conclusions.

That’s the startling theory put forward by French journalist Florence de Changy in her new book 'The Disappearing Act: The Impossible Case of MH370'.Overall, a well-researched book and if not for the downright preposterous theory de Changy draws at the end, this would have been a great read! Brian said that when he was nine years old he would catch the No 11 bus from his home in Chelsea to a cinema in Victoria where they showed newsreels of the war and he saw pictures of Belsen concentration camp being liberated. “Perhaps it was the ability of those images to tell such a powerful story that sowed the seeds of my future career.” He saw the films he made for Disappearing World as “telling the stories of ordinary people often struggling for survival and frequently fighting for their rights”. I'm really interested in real life mysteries and the disappearance of MH370 is one that has fascinated me since it happened in 2014. It's incomprehensible how a large aircraft can just disappear, and all these years later we still do not truly know what happened to it.

Why did everyone lie? Because although the Malaysians didn’t actually want the puzzle solved for reasons de Changy explains, they wanted it to be seen to have been solved, so they could forget about it.Their car runs out of petrol and they stop at a rest area, where a man in another car dons a false sling and orthopedic cast. Rex promises to never abandon Saskia and they bury two coins at the base of a tree as a symbol of their romance. Saskia enters the petrol station to buy drinks and does not return. Rex frantically searches for her. What happened to Malaysia Airlines flight MH370? You may think you know the answer to that question but the truth is you probably don't. This book will correct that for you though and make you look at the whole incident in a new and much more skeptical light. This extraordinary claim came from 41-year-old British yachtsman Katherine Tee, from Liverpool, whose initial account of seeing what she thought was a burning plane in the night sky made headlines around the world. So from a scientific point of view, the only theory that has any traction is a big storm and there’s really good evidence of one. I think that’s probably what happened.”
Maybe the solution is as down-to-earth as the power of the wind or a giant wave. It's also been rumoured that Zaharie used a flight simulator at his home to plot a path to a remote island. I also saw incompetency on how the government and the authorities handled this case. When it got interfered from the outsiders, this only deepened with confusion and misleading info.
