About this deal

Speaking of someone who didn't benefit from his WWE overhaul. Poor DDP! This match was utterly pointless and I think the entrances were longer than the match. Austin 3:16 Uncensored, Three Faces of Foley, Chris Jericho: Break Down the Walls & Kurt Angle: Its True, Its True As someone who watched the WWF during these years, I really enjoyed this twin-DVD set for nostalgic reasons. Modern WWE fans may be less enthused and possibly even horrified by the action on display at different times on the two discs. In fairness, though, the 1994 disc has a couple of great matches, even if the Ladder match is the only one in its entirety (match quality on the 1993 disc isn’t very good at all). If you were a fan at the time or if you’re interested in learning about the WWF between the Hogan years and the Attitude Era, this DVD is a good option; otherwise, you may enjoy it, but there may be moments that make for a frustrating viewing experience. A limited amount of Tagged Classics were released in the United States, spanning the years 2003-2005 and in Canada; 2002-2005, these sets were not produced by Silver Vision. They included present WWE PPVs 'tagged' together. For example, Royal Rumble and No Way Out 2003.

One of the best matches I have seen from either of these guys. They worked so well together that I wonder why when Guerrero was world champion WWE didn't match them up (I get the feeling that RVD was injured at the time though). This was just a perfect match from both and despite the obvious Heel/Face alignment you couldn't help but route for either of them. Undertaker vs. Kamala - This was the first ever Casket Match and the rules stated that the winner would be the man who pinned his opponent and then place him into the casket, closing the lid. Coupled on the second disk are Big Daddy Cool Diesel and Oozing Machismo! Razor Ramon. I understand why they were included, though you would have thought including one of the early Hogan videos would have made sense too. However, these two are the typical 'Best ofs' that WWE used to produce that are essentially just a collection of five matches from Diesel and nine from Razor Ramon. Both are nothing special, but do include some great matches like Diesel vs. Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and the highlight from the Razor Ramon side is of course the ladder match against Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania X. Now this is tag team wrestling. Tag teams of today really need to look at these types of matches to show them how it is done. All three teams are in their prime and even though the Dudleys were the bad guys in this match, it was so good it didn't matter who won. Just perfect.

This is not a team that I would ever think would exist: Lesnar and Stasiak? Really? To be honest this probably should have been a two on one match just to show how dominant he was. This was an odd match. I just don't know whether I enjoyed it or not. Going into the match you know that Lesnar could easily take both of them out on their own and watching him bulldoze through each Hardy is a little awkward at times. Still as a display of Lesnar's awesome power it is a great match. The future of the Tagged Classics series is uncertain due to Silver Vision and WWE parting ways at the end of 2012. [1] As of 2013, the current licensee, Fremantle, have said they will consider producing similar programming. However, nothing has come of this since. No extras came with this DVD which is a shame. One thing I will say about both DVDs that is a little odd is that when you skip a match the promo piece that hypes up the match is actually the last part of the previous chapter. This is annoying, especially if you have a habit (like me sadly) of skipping a match if it's a wrestler I don't enjoy or if I'm not enjoying the match. It would have made more sense to include these as a separate chapter or to include it at the beginning of that particular match. The Nasty Boys, Earthquake & Typhoon vs. Money Inc. & The Beverly Brothers - Not really much to say about this match. Overall the PPVs are pretty good but its a shame that by 1992 they had stopped producing a line-up of elimination matches. Also it would be great if they had added special features. However these are still classics and contain matches that were the key to some careers. Randy Savage & Mr. Perfect vs. Razor Ramon & Ric Flair - Perfect & Savage, maybe the most unlikely tag team ever but once the match was flowing they had the same kind of sparkle that Mega Powers (Hogan & Savage) once had. Flair was at the top of his game proving that he still had years of wrestling in him. Sgt. Slaughter, Jim Duggan, Texas Tornado & Tito Santana vs. Col. Mustafa, The Berzerker, Skinner & Hercules - The newly turned patriotic sergeant, Sgt. Slaughter teamed up with three well loved wrestlers to take on four misfits. The sets released prior to 2012 were unique as they were, for the most part, free from the former well-documented legal restraints imposed by the federal lawsuits initiated by the World Wildlife Fund in 2002 that prohibited the referencing and use of the scratch logo and initials "WWF", with only the cover art and menu screens of the Tagged Classics displaying the initials "WWE". They served as a more faithful representation of archived WWF material than the more recent Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series anthologies that were released using the WWE logo before 2012. Silver Vision have just announced their latest WWE Tagged Classics set, to be released in UK/Europe.

Yes you read that correct. WCW Champion Kurt Angle? However this was a great match. Of course it was, look at who is wrestling. I don't think Angle and Jericho could have a bad match and this is certainly a great technical match from them both. The sets are composed of two WWF/E events each, which were previously released on VHS. They contained no extras beyond the events (unless an extra was included in the original VHS release of the event, i.e. the original WrestleMania XIV DVD release includes a post-match press conference with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mike Tyson) up until the release of King of the Ring 1999& 2000, in which the King of the Ring 2000 disc contained the same extras that the original VHS release did.
