About this deal

A modern-day Cinderella, Cyndy Etler was homeless at fourteen, summa cum laude at thirty. Currently a young adult author and teen life coach, Etler spent sixteen years teaching troubled teens in schools across America. Throughout the novel, Morrison skillfully weaves themes such as courage in facing death, fulfilling one’s destiny despite obstacles, and discovering strength even in moments of weakness. As Nate moves forward on his path towards liberation from his inner darkness and anxieties, he learns how to accept life for what it is—a powerful reminder for all those looking for solace in times of despair. Character Study The novel conveys a strong message that it is okay to be vulnerable and express one’s true feelings without fear of judgment. It encourages individuals to take ownership over their lives and be comfortable with discovering who they are as a person. This is not an ordinary boy meets girl romantic story, which makes it my kind of story. I loved the dynamic between the twisted main characters, who just happened to be a nihilistic necrophiliac and a cannibal doctor. Their interaction, the way they struggle to open up, along with their inner dialogues felt both compelling and amusing. I was utterly hypnotized by it. From the outside, Straight Inc. was a drug rehab. But on the inside it was...well, it was something else.

Mind you, I did read “WOOM” by Duncan Ralston and thought that was another insane, creepy, disgusting kind of book but my goodness, “Dead Inside” took it to levels I never thought could be possible. The actual story here isn’t bad at all but again, I doubt this would ever happen in real life so remember, if you go along for this ride and throw common sense and reality out the window, it’s better enjoyed that way. Even the ending, with an interesting plot twist, was a solid way to end this strange book. Just like in those SAW movies, Morrison left the absolute worst for last and my goodness, it’s beyond demented. I was curious as to how all this would end and even I didn’t see that coming to the point where yeah, you finish it and are left wondering what the hell you just read. It’s a feeling that’s hard to explain but let’s just say, you feel guilty for reading this and will want to read a book to cleanse yourself because it’s that grimy and obscenely sexual. Besides that, as a metalhead, I did enjoy the Cannibal Corpse (fitting) reference as I love that death metal band. Morrison’s writing style is pretty good and honestly, this book will take you into the mind of a psychopath, a sociopath, basically someone that would have their own documentary that would be even crazier and creepier than anything you’ll see about Jeffrey Dahmer. Don’t try to make sense of it, just read and watch where it takes you. I looked away numerous times saying in my head no way did I just read that because of how disgusting this book is. Yeah, it’s really… really graphic, bad, and deranged.

Chandler Morrison’s novel, Dead Inside, is a powerful exploration of human emotion and inner turmoil. Let me start out by saying that I do not know how I will be reviewing this book because it is a memoir. I cannot judge the characters, plot, or setting. The accounts that happened throughout the book were memories; they happened in real life, specifically to a young woman named Cyndy. Through suspenseful writing techniques employed by Chandler Morrison, Dead Inside provides readers with an insightful perspective on internal strife and mental illness that is both analytical yet engaging. Are there any film or television adaptations of Dead Inside? Written in a totally relatable narrative, I was torn between not being able to put it down and having to for my own sanity.

I had the pleasure of meeting cyndy etler the other day, and I gotta say...she is awesome. she is no longer dead inside. her story is tragic, involving things I didn't even know existed. for all that, she is so kind and upbeat and positive now, it's absolutely amazing. Disclaimer: A free copy of this book was received through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I appreciate this expose and hope it inspires others to reveal stories of their hardships with "factual" evidence intertwined with their own personal histories.Cannibalism and Necrophilia. Can't say i have ever read a book with the both in it. I've read books with cannibalism but I can't remember one with Necrophilia (and i'm fairly certain I 𝐖𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 remember that). Now I'm a woman of 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐲 kinks but dead people. . . . Well that's where i draw the line. For some reason they don't do it for me. For Sex or Dinner. Go figure. 𝐍𝐨 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐨. 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐅𝐥𝐲. 𝐈 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐨... And if that means my mind is kinda deviated at this point then by all means. I won't complain about it. Nope. 𝐈 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐀 𝐁𝐀𝐃𝐆𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐑. The book’s narrative style is analytical and insightful but also engaging, making it accessible to a wide range of readers regardless of their enjoyment level. Are there any other books by Chandler Morrison? Brotherfollows a teenager determined to break from his family’s unconventional—and deeply disturbing—traditions.
