Smells very summery to me... beachy, fresh, almost like sunscreen. All in the best way. I love it as a body lotion and whenever I use it, I feel so relaxed and uplifted. Definitely plan on getting a full bottle.

Pure Grace smells like freshly laundered white cotton sheets hanging to dry on a cool sunny day in early spring. It's very simple and soapy, fresh and clean. It's a great everyday skin scent that's mild and inoffensive. Overall, I quite like it but for the price I'd rather spend it on something else. It's way too soft (even softer than Burberry Brit Rhythm, which is already very soft on me) and if I want the cleanness, I can just take an extra shower and emerge with the same clean smell on me at a bargain price. Still, for those of you who like fragrance that doesn't attract attention and is quite safe, this might just be for you.

It's similar to Clean by D'Lish but not as "strong" a scent as that. (On me, anyway.) It attracts people to you. Everyone likes the scent of clean people! And it's quite sexy, too. Men really like it. :) After wearing it for a few days I can now say I do sometimes smell laundry soap. Specifically the big yellow box of powdered Tide laundry soap. So to me it doesn't smell like clean clothes, or freshly laundered sheets or whatever, but it does smell a bit like a box of lemon scented laundry soap before it goes into the water. Pure Grace gets a bad rap for its limited sillage and longevity for good reason, but in my experience it draws regular compliments from people who enter or come close to my space bubble long after I cease to perceive it. I even have a handful of friends and loved ones who go out of their way to greet me with a hug just to get a whiff of my collarbone (my go-to application spot), even after I’ve spritzed it on 6 or 8 hours prior. I like the idea that people don’t smell me (read: my loud perfume) when I simply walk into a room. 😬 Pure Grace features pure, crisp soap and water notes, creating the simplest, cleanest scent imaginable. This is very much a morning fragrance for me so I don't mind that it only lasts an hour or 2 because then I'm able to wear something else later in the day without a lingering soapy scent. I didn't think soap though when i first smelled it although i now know by association what that's meant to mean, and I didn't like any of the other philosophy fragrances that were out at that time.Lavender note is not too sharp, it just act in the way giving this perfume an "Aromatic" kind of, yet person who doesn't like "Strong Aromatic scent" or hate "Strong lavender scent" can use it Sharp at first, but settles down into an airy, clean musk that brings to mind getting into a freshly made bed after a shower. Lovely fragrance for bedtime, but also works well for work as it’s inoffensive in the nicest possible way. I just received this perfume a few days ago and it is NOTHING like I thought it would be! I was under the impression it would smell like a nice, clean, creamy soap. Kinda like a bar of Dove soap. Not at all. To me this smells so, so similar to Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc. I get a lot of that same citrusy coconut vibe that SB has. Almost verging on a citrus cleaner or bug spray.
