This arrangement blends a healthy amount of step-in comfort with a smooth and supportive ride. There’s a deep transition groove on the new version that keeps the foot centered. Keep in mind that shoe design can change, even with the same model, so always assess how the shoe fits every time you replace a pair. More about Saucony I love that they added just a tiny piece of cushion on the heel to help reduce any issues with blisters from these really minimal uppers. Here you will find the best stability/pronation running shoes from Saucony. They are particularly suitable for runners who need extra support and stability when running. Both the midsole and the outsole work really well together offering a high level of flexibility and deliver a great transition as your foot works its way through the gait cycle.

BioMoGo DNA – also adapts to runner’s profile, stride, and speed, providing a more balanced experience with a bit of spring. As you can see from the image above, EVERUN is an additional layer of cushioning material that lives close to the foot, providing a more immediate cushioning. According to Saucony it provides an 83% energy return and it does not break down with usage. Running Shoes Buying Guides The PWRRUN+ midsole is pretty solid. It’s got a snappy ride that holds up for miles and feels smooth underfoot. And with a nearly full rubber outsole, the Hurricane will eat hundreds of miles like nobody’s business. It’s an overall daily training workhorse that can be relied on in a plethora of situations. Shop Hurricane 23 – Men Shop Hurricane 23 – Women The BadEvery toe-off felt smooth, and there’s a good amount of cushion in the heel to soften the blow for heel strikers. The heel of the shoe also protrudes out a little bit, which I found helpful in rolling me through my stride and keeping me consistent. Being completely objective, these shoes aren’t perfect. I don’t think any are!?! With that said, hand on my heart, and hand in my wallet, I would buy these all over again without a second thought.

Adidas Boston 10 Review - Boston gets revolutionized as it leans into its racing sibling the Adios Pro 2 with Lightstrike Pro midsole and energy rods With the Omni 20, one gets a conforming yet comfortable upper fit that’s now aligned with how other Saucony products are designed. Their often lower heel to toe drop and cushion make them a favorite of distance runners, who find the decreased drop helps with issues like IT Band Syndrome and ensures they are working on hip strength over a shoe correcting a weakness. Cushioning Stability: A (This shoe does exactly what it sets out to do – increase midfoot stability and decrease pronation)

The upper is incredible. It’s probably my favorite one of any shoes that I’ve tried in the past couple of months. Saucony mastered the plush, luxurious fit without going overboard. The upper feels almost memory foam-like, but it’s still breathable and doesn’t overheat. You don’t need to worry about any rubbing or hotspots in this shoe.

I’m all about function over form, and these are currently my favourite shoes. I look forward to running in them and seeing them makes me think about squeezing in an extra run, even when I know that I shouldn’t.Even though there is great flexibility within these shoes, it is important to reiterate that this in no way comes at the cost of support. Made from fused TPU beads, Pwrrun+ foam isn’t hard, but it’s denser than what you’d find on a light and pillowy Hoka. Lakota Gambill More Stable Than Speedy Endorphin Speed 3– Also designed to be a neutral, cushioned shoe you can take to the race, but without the carbon fiber plate, as it uses a nylon plate instead. Dr. Matthew Klein is a 140 lb male with notable PRs of 14:45 for 5k and 2:32:44 for the full marathon. He typically runs 70-100 miles per week and trains at a variety of paces from 8min per mile recovery runs to 4:40 per mile 1k repeats. He prefers firmer and responsive shoes with snug heels and medium to wide toe boxes. He is particular to less cushioned shoes and close to the ground shoes, but can handle a little cushion when he gets beat up. I love the fit of this shoe. Seriously. It’s a perfect fit — it doesn’t feel too tight or too loose. I wear a size 12 in all my running shoes, and this shoe wasn’t any different. So, if you’re unsure what size will work for you, this shoe is true-to-size.

It‘s a great all–around running shoe, providing great cushioning for a variety of running distances. The Hurricane 23 is wide and roomy around the forefoot, so if you prefer good ventilation around the toes, the Hurricane 23 is definitely the shoe for you. The shoe works best on long distance runs performed at a leisurely pace, or as an everyday training shoe for runners looking for a comfortable and supportive running shoe with maximum comfort. The older versions weren’t completely bereft of cushioning comfort, though. A removable EVA foam midsole and E-TPU topsole added a layer of step-in comfort over the firm midsole. Even though the Triumph 20 features the same midsole material (Pwrrun+) as the 19, everything around it is brand new. The Triumph 20 uses a reformulated foam for the new model, so the ride is softer and lighter. Our in-depth review has all the details. Saucony Tempus is something quite special. There are no other shoes like it. With this shoe, Saucony has really made something out of the fact that runners who need extra stability shouln't have to merely settle for a single type of shoe. The Tempus is the obvious choice for a tempo shoe if you're a runner who needs a little extra stability.Brooks and Saucony offer similar features and models for all kinds of runners, from the new runner to trail runner to the flat-footed or high-arched. I admit that the extra ‘heft’ of a long-distance shoe such as this does show in the depth of the midsole, and the weight of the shoe, but for those looking to put in the bigger miles on a regular basis, neither of these should concern you. It's a tough one The PWWRUN+ midsole is not only soft but produces a peppy bounce that brings a lot of life to these daily trainers. The lively foam also helps disguise the relatively high weight of the shoe. The combination of support and snap makes Hurricane 23 more than capable of meeting runners' daily training needs but is especially adept at handling longer, slower-paced runs. It’s actually named after a creek in Pennsylvania and their logo is to represent the flow of water! They really love places for shoe names. I got to visit the actual towns of Kinvara and Kilkenny in Ireland, just a few of their shoe names. Brooks vs Saucony Key Differences
