About this deal

Dang, you’re going to look so good. All the guys will be asking you to dance all night,” Scarlett said, her tone envious. “Don’t you think so, Hunter?” She glanced at Hunter who was, as usual, reading something on his phone. So my dad had three kids all born within a year and a half of each other in addition to being the stepfather to my oldest brother, Ian, who came from my mom’s first marriage.

The Facade (Eden Falls Academy, book 2) by Judy Corry

Hunter glanced over at his best friend with a smirk on his lips and said, “When I’m already dressed as the coolest person in the room, why would I dress up like anything else?” No one is perfect. And I know you were under a lot of stress with your injury and I had become distant after we lost the baby.” Nash and Elyse were both big into the theater program at our school, and while the auditions for the winter musical weren’t for several weeks, Nash was basically a shoo-in for the male lead. He’d already played bigger roles in last year’s musicals—not the lead yet since the drama teacher Miss Crawley liked to fill those with seniors when possible. But only something crazy would keep Nash from winning the part of the Phantom. And I was pretty sure Elyse had a good shot at getting the part of Christine.

Corry has said that she can never get enough of the emotion of falling in love. She has as such made a name for himself for writing hard won happily ever afters full of endearing characters and heart pounding kisses. I loved this story. I was hooked from the start. It flows really well and I liked the originality of the plot. Definitely recommend this one.

The Facade – Author Judy Corry

As for Emerson, the heroine. All I have to say is that she is a much bigger woman than I could and would ever be because I do not forgive and I don't forget. I've written several books now, and while all of them are pieces of my heart put in print, Emerson and Vincent's story was definitely one of my babies. I've had their story in my head for several years, so finally having it in book form is amazing, and sharing it with you wonderful readers is even better.Swoon!!! I have been impatiently awaiting Elyse’s story, in hopes that she would end up with Nash, but seeing the chemistry between her and bad boy Asher Park, and I became Team Asher all the way. Now I am longingly anticipating Nash’s story! I can’t wait to see this sweetheart get his happily ever after! At least, he hadn’t been a good one when it had really counted—when he’d been presented with the option to choose me when someone else was right in front of him.

Judy always has that talent to sunk you in with detailed scenes. For this book, she took it up a notch even more. And I adored it. And if my plan totally bombed and I completely humiliated myself in front of Ben, no one would be the wiser because no one would know it was me. And so even though my family probably would have freaked out if they’d known I had a seventeen-year-old guy—one I’d had a major crush on at one point—sleeping just a few feet away from me at night, I was glad that he’d at least trusted me to help him when he wouldn’t tell my brothers. The Charade is a forbidden romance about the new girl and the guy who everyone sees as untouchable.

Asher Park, bad boy of the stage and the guy whose last girlfriend suddenly disappeared and hasn’t been heard from in almost a year. To say his return to Eden Falls Academy sparked some controversy would be an understatement. Asher was perfect, an absolute flirt. The cheeky comments he made has me in stitches. The tension between him and Elyse was undeniable. I adored Elyse, you feel sympathetic for her because of the position she was in having to choose between the two. I won’t spoil anything but that one scene 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 I’d certainly tried to. But it seemed like no amount of apologizing or groveling could ever be enough after what I’d done to her. Asher and Elyse were truly the perfect couple. To see where and how they started off from, to how far they had come from the evolving steps their relationship took to get to where they were by the end was no easy feat. Given the hurdles they encountered with the bumps that came along the way. Yet it never stopped them from pushing through, proving they were meant to be endgame. Anyhow, I decided to read this book because I found out the cheating happened in the past and not in the present day. Still a hard pill to swallow, but I was curious to see how this story would pan out. After all, I do love a good second chance romance so I really wanted to go on this journey with these characters and see how they'd overcome this insurmountable obstacle.
