But when he opens his box of crayons, he finds only letters, all saying the same thing: We quit! I loved this children’s book totally. The illustrations are lovely and have pastel and baby-like colors that are nostalgic that I feel would be quite attractive to a child. The text is rhythmic like a lullaby. And there is a harmony to both the text and the illustrations together. But what is most beautiful is the message of the book itself.
