Very pleasant about the base is tonka. I love the spiciness, which resembles a clove. With vanilla and sandalwood it's gourmand, a bit smoky. As I was slowly doing the movements this magical, beautiful scent wafted around me. It made me feel comfy, cozy and warm. It had this radiance about it. While being vanilla and comforting it also managed to be feminine and elegant at the same time.
Yes, you can infer that I am rather partial to this glorious scent. When worn by a woman it induces a significant state of arousal in me. In short: Dior's Addict is an extremely potent aphrodisiac.I really wanted to like this but, this is so Harsh! Idk what it is its just STRONG, and not in a good way. And according to the notes, it should be at least a like for me. I've tried it different climates tried one spray and walking into it, its just a complete scrubber for me. I don't care what reformulation happened. I don't miss what I never knew. I don't even have words for this. Vanilla + amazing= door addict. It's expensive to me so, we are gonna save this puppy for special times or when I wanna show out. Monster performance, monster longevity and sillage. Dense, hot and unrelenting like the air before a summer storm. Believing that you’ll find your signature perfume via fragrance community pressure and that you have to have and know every new release ain’t the right way. Dior Addict won't be my choice but definitely it is luxury, appellative and sensual perfume for confident women.
don’t compete with others, and what others have and share online. Don’t believe the illusion that you’ll feel better by owning 100+ bottles of expensive perfume. The second bottle I bought of the EDP got me a bit tired of; it is (was) a very bold fragrance with a huge sillage and I would not recommend it for office wear. The bottles at the time were shorter and chunkier, with gold lettering and a gold button on top. An incredible master piece, there is no other perfume like it. I am talking about the original formulation.minutes later and it's no longer as planty. It's a very warm scent with the spicy vanilla taking over, it's quite cozy as well. Definitely could see this in the winter. I could also see this as slightly more 'sexy' now, but again, not my type and the spice being a bit irritating to me. I smell it strongly within 4" of my skin as well now.
Sandalwood merely present , Vanilla barely perceptible, Tonka Bean at its blandest - so much for the base notes but one need not base upon them, it's all in the middle - to me. Yeah, a whiff of Jasmine now and then tries to smoothen the perfume, not that it needs to be. First class as it is. If you have recognized yourself in this article, I’m glad that you have found it so that you don’t have to go alone during this period. I've always been into Oriental fragrances, but this is the most unique fragrance I have ever smelled. Before we continue to the next chapter, I want you to test yourself with the final fifth step and do a simple test which I call a “ 10-day no perfume challenge“.
