About this deal

So yeah, interesting idea, but I was just mostly frustrated with the crap these kids did and how far they went. Quite disappointed as I bought this book and I now wish I hadn't. *sighs and waves bye bye to the 9 euros the book has cost her*

Attack of the Demon Dinner Ladies: (Baby Aliens) by Pamela

Thomas Flintham (Illustrator): Thomas Flintham studied BA Fine Art at De Montfort University and in 2009 he graduated with a distinction in his Masters degree in Illustration at Camberwell College of the Arts, South London. Thomas works digitally, drawing straight into his computer with his Wacom tablet, and in the old fashioned way on paper with brush and ink and drawing pens. He loves to draw and doodle. He has a very loose grip on reality, and enjoys disappearing into his own imagination in search of new characters, worlds and ideas to draw. His work is influenced by his interest in all kinds of books, films, comics and Japanese video games. He loves Christmas and chocolate. He owns (almost) too many books.

Reviews

If you or anyone else like mystery stories, but also like funny ones, this is the book for you. It made me laugh, mostly because it has a lot of jokes. I think Reading Force is a great idea – a brilliant way of uniting families and sharing the joys of reading.” I like how they think that the dinner lady head is evil but really shes not and shes just making changes I read this book a few years ago, and remember absolutely loving it! After my first time reading it, I read it again twice over! I just could not get my head around how imaginative these children are Pamela lives in Dundee with her baby boy and their two awesome cats, Bear & Carlos. If she wasn't working as a writer and a teacher she'd like to open a luxury hotel for stray cats.

Attack of the Demon Dinner Ladies (Baby Aliens Book 4)

It's very easy to read. The story is easy to understand and catch up with. I think it would also make a good read-aloud. Where I quite loved the previous one and the antics the kids went through and also their imagination, in this one I actually disliked the kids and how hurtful they were against Amy, the dinner ladies. How far their imagination went to even think that these women were evil, that they were demons. That they would do ANYTHING, even accuse the dinner lady of poisoning (instead of thinking it is an allergy to avocado or whatever else was in that mix that Jodi's mum put on her face). Really, imagination is nice, but if you see conspiracies everywhere, maybe you should just see a doctor. They really hurt a few people here, and I was just so sad for Amy and her mum/the dinner ladies. They did their best to make something new and special. And really, is it so weird for people to wear those hats or goggles. Do you want hairs and such in your water or food? Um, eww, no. Izzy and her friends have never liked school dinners. And they’re getting worse. The dinner ladies are acting strangely: making up random rules, wearing hats, and cooking new food, even more horrible than usual It must be the work of the new demon dinner lady! I'm rating it as a mum purely on one chapter somewhere in the first third of the book. Commas are used randomly, if at all. 50% of the sentences start with "and", mostly to avoid having long sentences. One of the best things about reading books is sharing and talking about them with family and friends.

Armistice Day: A Collection of Remembrance - Spark Interest and Educate Children about Historical Moments Izzy and her friends have never liked school dinners. And they're getting worse. The dinner ladies are acting strangely (making up random rules, wearing hats, and cooking new food, even more horrible than usual). Lollipop man mentions there is a new head dinner lady and calls her "a bit of a legend" (in a bad way) and that she used to be here a long, long time ago and has returned. Izzy and friends wonder if she is the reason for the strange behaviour. They wonder why she has returned. They find out she was fired. They speculate as to why and decide she's a demon who's returned to do bad things. Because why wouldn't she be? Izzy and her friends Amy, Maisie, Jodi and Zach notice strange goings on all related to their dinnerladies and start to investigate what is happening after making the links which cause a series of bizarre incidents to occur.

I liked this book because I thought it was very funny when it said that shepherd's pie was truly terrible.I found the story fun and hilarious. The title made me curious. I think the character I liked best was tiny Maisie because she was funny. Again I love the way they are so imaginative and they always get the case wrong The Izzy books are great I liked the same things about this book that I wrote in the other book = there is a werewolf in My tent

Attack of the Demon Dinner Ladies by Pamela Butchart - Goodreads Attack of the Demon Dinner Ladies by Pamela Butchart - Goodreads

An interesting book. The dimmer lady is acring suspicious according to Izzy and her friends at school. Love this book! Sure, maybe the school could have done a bit more education or a lesson on the new food stuff and what they meant so that everyone knew what to expect. Then again, the kids could have easily asked what was in the water or what all the fancy food was meant to be. They have mouths, they can ask. : Characters: This is part of a series of books featuring The same group of core characters but each book can be read individually. Each character has their own personality expressed in both actions, dialogue and in the drawings. It kept me interested and I wanted to read more. I liked maisie the best because she's really brave and kind. I thought this book was so entertaining and I recommend it to everyone, pamela butchart is a legend Her top selling stories include The Spy Who Loved School Dinners which won the Blue Peter Best Story Award and My Head Teacher is a Vampire Rat which won The Children's Book Award. Two of her books, Petunia Perry and the Curse of the Ugly Pigeon and There's a Werewolf in My Tent, were shortlisted for the Lollies - the Laugh Out Loud Awards.
